The Sojourn Adharshila Rooms and Cottages

One of the best experiences I had at Sojourn and Dharmasala. We were given two rooms and each one is having a private terrace. The view of Himalayas from the terrace is awesome. Rooms are very neat and clean. Fantastic toilet. Very clean bed and linen. Facility to dry the clothes. Kitchen facility is also there and we can prepare our own tea if required. Breakfast will be prepared and chargeable. I feel Breakfast RS 125 is a bit expensive. We have taken sandwitches.Dinner will be prepared as per the requirement. They prepared as per our requirement. Quantity and quality both were good.Mr Vipin ( Manager ) and Mr. Nirmal ( care taker ) both are very nice.Mr Vipin's wife prepared the dinner exactly as per our requirement. The homestay reminds us of 100% home feeling. Very nice location. Peaceful and serene. Lot of houses around. About 4 kms from Dharmasala and lot of buses are there for travelling to Dharmashala.Norbulingka monastery is very close. Owner Mr Karan is very cooperative and helpful. Overall the stay was awesome and will recommend to all.

The Soujourn is one of the best HOMESTAYS I've ever been to. its clean, well managed and the staff is warm and friendly as they go about doing their work with a smile. They provide awesome simple food, something that is a rarity these days. they customized food requirements and prepared fresh hot food with specific request for JAIN FOOD as well. So anybody looking for a comfortable stay and a home away from home can come to this place and make it a base to explore dharamshala and above. its great even for religious trips around the place for 4 "DEVI DARSHAN" as it is situated on YOL road.

This home stay is awesome due to wonderful home like food and care which Nirmal and Vipin and his wife gives to the guests . Rooms have been quite clean with all basic amenities . Food was truly awesome , just like my mother . Thank you . Only drawback is its location , it is far away from main attractions of dharamshala and commuting from this place can b little difficult . Wi-fi was good too .. Karan the owner was nice too , kept enquiring about my stay and helped with locating . So overall I liked it . If you want some peace and me time , it is the place for you . Thanks again

Very good peaceful location. Property surrounding greenery. Stayed for 3 days in premium suite that has 2 double beds. One in bedroom and other in living. Living area has small partition and one part has 5 seater sofa and other part double bed. Tasty home made food was made available. Only improvement could have been separate wash room and toilet so that 2 people can use at the same time. Still can be managed. One must certainly stay at the sojourn.
