Hotel The Taj Vista Agra ..walking distance to Tajmahal..

Though rooms are good and the hotel is easily accessible as well, located near Taj Mahal, there was no dearth of issues with the AC as well as the staff. Had booked a Premium room, but AC was working like a normal fan, with the room facing sunlight and an absence of ventilation, it was too hot to survive. After our complaint, we landed in a deluxe room which had its AC functioning properly, initially. But around midnight, even that failed. We had to roam like nomads till 2.30 AM, after which the AC normalized by itself. We had booked the hotel for the next day as well, and the manager / owner quite politely explained that the electricity problem has been done away with and now that the rush has eased, we won't have to face any problem. But to our utter dismay, that night was even more harrowing for us, with AC failing us around 10:30 PM, only to start normal cooling around 4 AM. The staff seemed helpless and offered little help. We were informed that several other guests had the same issue. Though on a positive side, the manager / owner had got our breakfast packed for an early morning train and we are thankful for that.

hotel is average only plus point is room size is good food tastes very bad no mats in the room so we can't walk in room in this weather as room is damp and wet their check out time is 11 we asked for 2 hours extra as our train was at 2.40 and we are traveling with small kid they said no straight you have to check out at 11 we have guest but when we checked out at 11 not a single person in lobby i will not recommend this hotel to anyone if you want to ignore everything and want to stay only positive point is tajmahal is very near to this place

The location is in a good locality and Taj Mahal East gate is near to the Hotel....rooms are good ...had taken room 106 for 4th-6th October...hotel staff is good but I will rate them a 2/5 for their slow service....they are extremely late in their room service...food is good but they serve the food uncovered which is very bad....inspite of telling them more than once they kept on serving the food uncovered ....I think they need to work on this else would have been happy to rate them a 4/5.
