The Wilderness Retreat | Cottage & Restaurant

the wilderness retreat is theme based resort, the themes based on jungles, wild life sanctuaries and forests in India like Bandipur, Sundarbans and Corbett etc. while the resort has done decent job in creating cabins to replicate the essence of these places, the amenities just alright and the services are okay okay and sometimes sub-par... the food is not at all good and just about average ..we ordered veg food and Manchurian was undercooked.. too overpriced for the quantity and quality provided.. even the resort is too overpriced as they do not have any activities except cycling.. they have go karting which is open to outsiders too which you need pay from your pocket.. you get to watch some birds and snails... except for that the experience wasn't anything near good.. even the complementary breakfast wasn't served right, they said they would be open at 7 and we went at around 8 they said half of the items on menu weren't available and on rechecking twice too they denied, when I said I would write a bad review they agreed to provide most items on menu.. not expected when you are paying for a day! too expensive for what you get.the price it deserves, anything above that is waste of money

A beautiful place in the wild, with private cottages. each cottage is of its own kind. Pretty decent food. Service was a little slow. Do carry mosquito repellent or ask at the reception they will provide too. overall a good exp and definitely going back Privacy and security

Stay was good with the nature around...service in the restaurant has to improve a lot...Most of the waiters forget to bring what we asked for. We had to keep reminding them.. Need games in the resort..etc Menu doesn't have many options to order food

An iconic idea beautifully set up in an amazing location. I would suggest the management to concentrate more on providing amenities like iron boxes and stuff. Would definitely go back again.
