Trimurty Residence - Ganagapur / Ghangapur

This is an extremely basic house in a remote village of which few rooms on the 1st floor have been rented out as a lodge. It is close to the temple and bus stand which is convenient. Being a remote village, drinking water is not available in the room (unless you can drink water from basin/bathroom) but bisleri water is available in shops near bus stand and temple. For morning tea/coffee you need to go out .There is an udipi hotel at bus stand which is very convenient You can get coffee for Rs 15, idli, wada, upma, sheera for Rs 25 each. puri bhaji also available. next to that is yatri bhojanalaya where you can get decent home cooked meals for Rs 80 a thali. that has 2 big chappatis, 2 bhaji, papad, rice, dal and curd. they serve more as required. Food is fresh, reasonably priced and good. These 2 places are very helpful especially when you have to go out for eating. the food is good, cheap and fresh. Please carry candles and match box as there are frequent current cuts resulting in complete blackout. Also carry toiletries like soap, towel etc as being a small lodge in a remote village these are not available. For any pooja/seva you can go to the temple directly, many priests are available to do the sevas. Abhiskek costs Rs 1100, rudraabhishek, paduka poojan costs rs 2500 each. if you do any seva you get to do annadan seva(madhukari bhiksha) where you serve temple food to 5 people. in fact sarva seva can be done at a max cost of Rs 5500.To visit akkalkot there are numerous cars available at the bus stand for which a round trip a/c car will be max 2500, non ac would be Rs 2000.In the lodge there is no check in/check out, no security etc.There is no trash can in the room nor is there an attendant. Please carry a napkin to use as foot rug outside the bathroom. If any senior citizen is travelling please carry light luggage as it is difficult to carry the luggage to the first floor.

stay was very average, just they provide bed and bathroom to be precise and it was an under construction property so no facilities not even water , soap everything you need to take care of yourself , bed sheets were dirty, bathroom is dirty, no maintenance, also they will take you to one place to another saying no rooms though they say if you don't have own vehicle again you have to pay extra for auto , the response you will get will be only once you reach their home ! overall just serve the purpose to stay for a night.. ac and geyser are available and working fine ! the property is also very far to temple premises not nearby almost end to village ! i hope you verify and then post these kind of properties! not worth for the price we pay!

Truly a great hospitality by the management of the hotel, rather we can say homely atmosphere and treatment. I have visited Gangapur with family and stayed for a night and full day at Trimurthi Residence. Mr Dattatreya pujari and Mrs Rukmini Dattatreya will take care you as of their family members. Their younger son Mr Nikhil Dattatreya Pujari who is a priest at temple will take care our puja/Bhiksha/Abhishekam etc with reasonable price. Overall it's a more than a five star rating. But don't expect a three Star facilities as it's a small town. Lunch and dinner arrangements will be taken care if we request them and it's a homely/tasteful excellent khana. Gangapur is a small sleepy town visited mostly for pilgrimage to worship Sri Guru Dattatreya. Not much scope for getting 4 star facilities. Trimurty Residency is run and maintained by a Priest family and they keep the place clean and hygienic. Also in that place we can not expect to get good food as there are any decent food joints available outside. So better eat in this Priest's house before telling them and they gladly do that service. This place is on Sangama Road and we have to walk about 1 KM to reach Temple. Only 5 rooms are available and in that 3 are with AC provision. The family is decent and helpful and their son is good at doing pooja inside the Temple. I am satisfied with the visit.
