I’m from Kottayam, and my family and I visited Velankanni Church for two days. We stayed at Udayam Inn, and it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is just a 5–10 minute walk to the church, which was very convenient. The rooms were clean and perfect for families. A special thanks to Santhosh Kannan, the cook, who prepared breakfast, lunch (meals), and dinner just the way we wanted. The food was really good. At the reception, Vijayakumar and another staff member (whose name I don’t remember) were very friendly and helpful. They even allowed us a late checkout to make our train travel more comfortable. Overall, Udayam Inn is a great place to stay for families from Kerala visiting Velankanni. Food

Excellent service,clean room,good ambience,Staff is polite.Manager allowed us to keep our luggage a couple of hours earlier at lounge so that we could roam around before check in at 12 pm.Morning breakfast was really good and they have called us around 8 pm for confirming the breakfast,and delivered it quickly.Location is approximately 1 kms from shrine,so it's a good walk through main road.They have allowed us to overstay half an hour more(11:30),that's a good gesture.We will definitely choose the hotel again and recommend it for families.

It was a plesant experience staying at this hotel. Booked deluxe double room and the check-in process was hassle free. The room was well appointed, clean linen and the bathroom was neat n clean. Toiletries and complimentary water bottles were available. The reception staffs and the owner Mr. Karikalan was nice to us and they even accepted late checkout on our request considering our train time. Nice parking space is available as the groundfloor is reserved entirely for it. I will definitely opt this property on my next visit.

Overall good experiance with Udayam Inn. Rooms are very neat and clean. Staffs are always available for anything . Walkable distance to the Morning star church ( malayalam mass ) Restaurent facility is not there but staff will help to buy the food from outside if required . Lift facility is not there . They allowed 3 hrs delayed checkout as well . Thank you .

Such an awesome stay! Parking available, clean rooms & clean bathrooms! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Velankanni. They also provide shampoo, conditioner, coconut oil for hair, dental kit, bath towels and water heating kettle which is awesome. Sachu at the reception is really amazing and helpful.

Nice hotel. Covered parking. decent room. they provided bath soap, towel, shampoo, oil etc. Kettle along with instant coffee powder, tea packet, sugar etc available to make the morning coffee. Just 10 min walking distance from the church/beach. Overall a nice and quiet place to stay.

nice hotel in velanganni. seems to be a new property. lift is not there. our lady church is 1500 meters away. there is a sea food restaurant named samudra very near to hotel with great food. room and washroom is standard and up to the mark. thanks to Goibibo team.
