rating 2 The stay in urban nomads pods was bad. To begin with, I had already confirmed my booking and had placed my luggage in the room in advance. I checked in late as I was arriving from another city. Upon calling, the person mentioned that booking was under a different name and email id. How is that even possible when another staff member had already confirmed my booking? This was at 1.30 am and I had to spend good time with the long check-in procedure. Other hostels/stays just ask for name, Id proof, email id and phone number. Here I was asked for father/mother name and whatnot. How is that even relevant when only guests above age of 18+ are allowed? Only good thing was the sleeping space. Bathroom was not clean and there was no water at all in the washroom. I doubt if it's even cleaned at all. I somehow managed to use it with difficulty and disgust as I had no other choice. I had an early departure and this caused a lot of inconvenience. This problem was there from previous night and even if we need any help there is no one at the reception. The locker service is even more horrible. There were 4 beds and 5 lockers, all had numbers. I didn't get a locker for 1 whole day as all were filled. This was very irritating as I had valuable things and the hosts didn't care to check that in advance. The staff asks to check with host, host asks to check with staff. No one takes responsibility so I wondered why do they even run this space? After I told them not to bother as I had an early flight next day and had managed without a locker for more than 1 day, they went around and provided me top space in one locker. Lockers are numbered same as beds. So they should be distributed accordingly. If not deposits should be taken as I've seen in other hostels. They just randomly give 1-2 lockers for a single guest. I had a horrible experience and definitely won't go back here ever. Also there should be a dedicated smoking area. The entire building smells like cigarettes as guests smoke wherever they want inside. Not at all recommended as I've seen better hostels in the same area at lower price.

The location is very good, as well as very quiet and peaceful.The river view is so beautiful and the sound of the river is very calming. The staff is very cooperative and accommodative. They have in house food and house keeping service. In addition, They also have a laundry service. It's perfect for both, long term and short term stays.

The place is great for short term travel days or for solo travelers. It has a great connectivity of transport and food stalls/ restaurants. I highly recommend you if you plan to visit pune for some days. The staff members are also cooperative and friendly.

Location was good. Doms and washrooms also very clean. Friendly staff supportive. Housekeeping staff also available every time for service. Stay was good.
