A good hotel to stay while at Thanjavur. Located very close to Railway Station and Old Bus Stand in a prominent place. 1/2 km away from the Big Temple. Staff at the reception provide courteous and efficient service. Rooms are always kept neat and tidy. Hot water is supplied to the rooms 24 X 7 basis on all days. Air conditioner provided at the rooms work noiselessly. TV is available with many channels in all languages. Wash basin, 2 mirrors, twin cots, two teapoys and 2 chairs and a huge cupboard have been provided. Freebies are plenty viz. tooth paste, tooth brush, bath soap, shampoo, comb, shaving set, shower cap are given to each guest. Complimentary tasty mini breakfast is given to each guest. However, the only minor handicap is that car parking is on the adjacent builing in a basement, which is locked during the night by the hotel staff. The hotel is situated 200 meters in a narrow lane adjacent to the main road. Tariff for our stay are very reasonable, competitive and economical.

The Interiors of the Hotel and the Rooms are excellent are very pleasant this is the only best part. But the major hiccup is the Travel from the street to the Hotel Front Door/ Desk One has to travel (walk is the correct word as we can't drive) in this 3 ft wide small lane for about 75metres to get to the Front desk carrying your luggage etc... I will not suggest to elderly people who have walking issues ( my father had). Underground Parking available in an adjacent building.Secondly the Hotel staff won't provide you with breakfast only at 08:30 am or later as they don't have a kitchen facilities and people who have to leave early ( before 08:30) have no option but to skip their Complementary bfast ( like I did since we had to start early.A refrigerator is kept in the room but won't work.Luke warm water comes on the shower (don't expect it to be any more hotter).... Sharp edges on the Beds ( in the room) please be careful.Walkable distance from Big temple ( 1 km) and some good restaurants and Bus stand.

Room and bathroom both are clean with good ambiance but this hotel is not located in the main road. Its located in a lane, where it is hard to drive even a 2 wheeler.. This hotel is having godrej smart lock system. As the room we stayed is having some problem with configuration, room should be unlocked using a key.. There is only one key available and it will be with the guy in reception.. So every time we go out and come back, we need to request someone from reception to unlock.. This is annoying.. Car parking is provided in a nearby construction site, which they claim to be theirs.. Hot water is solar powered.. so the hotness of water is very very mild.. Driver room is available for those who comes with a driver.. Complimentary breakfast is provided, which is good.. 8-10 mins walkable distance from Thanjavur Big Temple.. Overall, an average stay with some pros and cons..

The hotel is new, rooms look good, maybe there is no proper parking facility. The most worrisom part is that the bed is horrible, you will never know when it will flip you off the cot, that made our experience really worse. They could have gone with flat beds. Up to 1 feet around the corner you cannot sit or lie down, it pushes you down. The beds, They could have gone with flat beds. There is no doubt it is a safe place for family and children. There need to have professional hotel management staff to take care of property. For the price they charge in tier 3 city amenities must be well maintained. The entry of 30 metres pathway is full of trash and cow dung atleast they must have liaison with local authority to keep that stretch clean.overall it is an average experience only.

Vedha stay is located approximately 0.5-1 km from the brihadeeshwara temple and other tourist attractions in Tanjavur. The entrance is accessible only by a two wheeler, since it's located in a lane. However the hotel is close to the main road. Complementary breakfast is adequate and tasty. Facilities like lift, houseboy help and 24X7 hot bath water and drinking water is provided.

Rooms looks exactly same as in the pictures. Rooms are neatly maintained. Rent is slightly high. Located exactly in the middle of the town with spacious car parking. If you book 2 days before your stay you could find bigger rooms in Tanjore. Recommend to search hotels 3-4 kms away from the town in case need a bigger rooms with the same rent.

in general the hotel was worth the price spent only for the location; the room was quite clean but the linen was very dirty. in the hall there was a half-naked indecent character lying on the day and night sofas: unhygienic and really a bad business card for the hotel image

Good and safe stay.We booked the place to visit big temple.Location is near to it.Checkin and check out was easy, thanks to Anuradha who was handling it while we went there.Rooms were near and had enough space

Hotel looks good, and stay and service is also good. Permitted early check in and late check out. overall good experience. The only grey area is the way towards the hotel is not in good condition.
