Hello! I'm Neha, a textile designer, poet, artist, and the heart behind Wise Child Homestays, nestled in the tranquil mountains of Himachal Pradesh. My journey from the bustling city of Mumbai to the serene hills has been one of transformation, leading me to create a space where guests can reconnect with nature and themselves. Profession & Interests- With over 12 years of experience as a textile designer in the retail industry, I transitioned from corporate life in 2021 to pursue my passions. I published my first book, One Vulnerable Dot, a journey of finding self-love and healing, and I'm currently working on my second. My life revolves around art- be it painting, poetry, or experimenting in the kitchen. I also practice meditation and have been an aerial yoga practitioner, embracing a holistic approach to well-being. Hosting Inspiration- The idea of Wise Child Homestays was born from a desire to break free from the 9-to-5 routine and the conventional matrix of life. My husband and I envisioned a sanctuary where travelers could experience the warmth of a home, the richness of local culture, and the peace that the mountains offer. Hosting allows me to connect with people from all walks of life and share the simple joys of mountain living. What Makes My Hosting Special- At Wise Child Homestays, every guest is treated like family. We welcome our guests with our special orange tea, a favorite among visitors. From personalized welcome notes to curated local experiences, I strive to make your stay memorable. Whether it's guiding you to a secluded trail, sharing a home-cooked meal under the stars, or introducing you to local artisans, I aim to provide experiences that linger long after you've left. A Fun Fact About Me - I am a mindful person and a good listener. I've also been a mindfulness coach and an art therapist. I believe in the healing power of art and mindfulness, and I bring this philosophy into every aspect of hosting. Some might say I'm a master of all trades, but I like to think of myself as a master of art in all its forms. I look forward to welcoming you to Wise Child Homestays, where stories are shared, memories are made, and the mountains embrace you.
