For safety reasons dangerous articles, such as those listed below, must not be carried in the Passenger's baggage:
Compressed gasses: deeply refrigerated, flammable non-flammable and poisonous such as butane oxygen, liquid nitrogen, aqualung cylinders and compressed gas cylinders.
Corrosives such as acids, alkalis, mercury and wet cell batteries and apparatus containing mercury.
Explosives, munitions, fireworks and flares, ammunition including blank cartridges handguns, fire works, and pistol caps.
Flammable liquids and solids such as: lighter refills, lighter fuel, matches, paints, thinners, fire-lighters, lighters that need inverting before ignition, matches (these may be carried on the person), radio active material, briefcases and attaché case with installed alarm devices, and oxidizing materials such as bleaching powder and peroxides.
Poisons and infectious substances such as insecticides, weed-killers and live virus materials. Other dangerous articles such as magnetized materials, offensive or irritating materials.
Carriage of dry cell batteries, knives, scissors, sharp instruments, tools, firearms, ammunitions, and toy replicas are prohibited in the Passenger cabin.
Terms and Conditions for Web Check-in
To avoid formation of queues at the airport, web check-in is now mandatory.
Web check-in is available online 2 hours prior to scheduled departure
Web check-in is available on all domestic flights.
In case you are carrying checked-in baggage, please ensure that you report at the check-in counter to deposit your bags at least 90 minutes (for domestic sectors prior) to scheduled departure time
In case you are carrying only hand baggage, you may proceed for security check with your web checked-in boarding pass (no need to get it stamped at the check-in counter)
The passenger has to reach the airport 2 hours prior to flying time. Baggage drop closes 1 hour prior to departure.
For domestic sectors, boarding to commence 60 minutes before departure and gates to close 20 minutes before flight departure
Please ensure that you are carrying your valid photo identification with you for any security checks by airport security staff
If you have done a web check-in, you may modify or cancel your bookings two (2) hours prior to the scheduled departure time only by calling airline at their reservations numbers
Passengers between the age of 15 to 65 without any medical condition(s), and travelling without an Infant or Child, may choose to book an Emergency Exit row Seat. Airline reserves the right to refuse a Passenger an assigned Emergency Exit row Seat at the time of boarding in case the above criteria is not met.
Passengers doing web check-in shall be responsible for ensuring their hand-baggage meets the physical dimension and weight limits, and must pay for excess cabin baggage (if any) at the airport check-in counter. There will be random checks at boarding gates for hand baggage size and weight, and if found oversized or overweight, INR 400/kg will be chargeable, and additionally the bag may be taken from the passenger to be placed in the cargo hold.
