Terms & Conditions Go Time Guarantee for Flights

These terms are in addition to the General Terms of Use & Service as mentioned at https://www.goibibo.com/terms-and-conditions/. All the terms herein shall have the same meaning as defined therein unless specifically modified, altered, amended or changed herein.

GoTime Guarantee Details:

As a customer delight feature, Company has introduced the 'Go Time Guarantee'. Under the 'Go Time Guarantee' feature, Company will initiate cancellation and processing of refund for any flight booking cancellation within 1 hour ("GoTime") from receipt of cancellation confirmation from the Flight. In case Company fails to meet the GoTime timeline, it will credit customer's GoCash account (in case of registered user) with promotional GoCash amounting to INR 100 for each hour of delay beyond the GoTime, subject to a maximum of GoCash amounting to INR 5,000.

Initiation of processing of refund hereunder shall mean initiation of customer's refund request through payment gateway and receipt of acknowledgement for the same from payment gateway by the Company.

GoTime Guarantee: Eligibility and other terms:

  1. 1) Applicable only for Users registered on the Site.
  2. 2) Applicable only for the Flights booked to travel within the territory of India.
  3. 3) Cancelled booking should be refundable in nature.
  4. 4) GoTime will be calculated from the receipt of cancellation request from the customer by the Company.
  5. 5) Company's decision with regard to the calculation of GoTime and in case of delay, promotional GoCash, shall be final, binding and undisputable.
  6. 6) GoTime Guarantee shall not be applicable in the following cases:
    1. a) Cancellation of booking after due date.
    2. b) If the refund amount against cancellation of a booking sums upto zero;
    3. c) Cancellation of booking due to no-show;
    4. d) Booking comprising of multiple flights/carriers;
    5. e) Refund value is equivalent to 100% of the booking amount;
    6. f) Flight directly cancelled by customer with the concerned airline;
    7. g) Flight cancelled by airline;
    8. h) Refund arising out of amendment in a booking;
    9. i) Booking made through Company's Business Partners like (but not limited to) HDFC Smart Buy, Kotak Mobile App, Citi Premier Miles, Apps Daily, Samsung Galaxy Platform.
  7. 7) Promotional GoCash payable in case of delay in meeting GoTime Guarantee by Company per cancellation shall not exceed INR 5000.
  8. 8) Company reserves the right to discontinue GoTime Guarantee at any time without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
  9. 9) The reflection of the refund amount in Customer's bank account shall be subject to Customer's bank's policy.

    4. d) Partial cancellation of booking;
    5. e) Refund arising out of amendment in a booking;
    6. f) Post-paid/Pay-at Hotel bookings;

What is Go Time?

GoTime is a service level guarantee in which we promise to complete your request in defined time, based on the applicable scenario.

How does GoTime work for different scenarios?

Once any request or service level concern has been acknowledged at Goibibo's end, we promise resolution of the same within a stipulated timeframe, as applicable based on the scenario concerned.

What are the scenarios in which GoTime Promise is applicable?

GoTime Promise is currently applicable for Cancellation and Refund request as well as for Hotel Check-in denied/Sold out issue, Booking Failure cases and Flight Reschedule requests.

Is GoTime promise applicable on Flights/ Hotels/ Holidays/ Flights + Hotels (GoPackage)?

As of now, GoTime Promise is applicable for hotels & flights only and for selected scenario.

Benefits of goTime?

It discourages the undue delay in resolving the request or issue reported to us. It helps in expediting the resolution from our end and promises to give fastest closure.

What happens if resolution of the request/issue is delayed beyond the stipulated time?

We will be crediting compensatory promotional GoCash @ INR 100 per hour of delay which shall not exceed INR. 5000 in any relevant case.

What is the maximum amount of GoCash one can receive?

While the maximum amount of GoCash payable shall not exceed INR. 5000.

What is the time frame to credit GoCash earned due to delay?

GoCash will get accumulated on hourly basis and we will credit it once the request/issue is resolved.

How can I track the status of my service request?

The same is visible in 24x7 go care customer support. You need to provide your contact number which you used while making the booking or Booking-Id and click on "Go To Your Booking".

Is this feature available on International bookings also?

No this feature is applicable only for domestic bookings as of now.

By when do I have to use my GoCash? What is the validity of GoCash earned?

The GoCash received for this period is promotional & is valid for 180 days only.

My request/ issue resolution is delayed due to some dispute or exception. Will my booking fall under GoTime promise policy?

No. Since GoTime promise caters only to the bookings which are beyond disputes or exceptions, your booking will not be eligible for the offer.
