It was an amazing experience. Hotel Diplomat is situated in a calm & quiet posh locality in the heart of the Lutyen's Delhi. It's a smallish boutique hotel with greenery all around. Rooms are pretty good. The suite rooms are fabulous with antique furnitures and paintings. Toilets are clean and having all the modern amenities. Normal rooms, though smaller in size, are maintained properly. The service is proper and in time. The in house restaurant is run by Cafe Delhi Heights, a popular restaurant chain. Food is excellent, very good portion sizes and very tasty Very efficient and fast service. Never had to wait for something that has been requested.

The hotel manager is really good, and considered all our requests. I was there to give my visa interview at the US Embassy and this hotel is located at only 5 mins from the US consulate. All the other consulates are also quite near by and can easily be commuted to by autos and cabs. Rooms are really clean and comfortable and priced reasonably.

It was awesome. The room was excellent having proper cleanliness and AC was very effective. The TV had all channels working. Comfort. One thing which i didn't like was the Breakfast which was not properly laid in Buffet. Most of the bowls were empty and we had to call them and ask for everything. But the Food was good.

It's nice time to stay at Hotel Diplomat. The staff at reception as well other support staff were very humble and good enough for our needs during stay. The hotel is very central for Airports, embassies and even to reach market areas. In total it's a EXCELLENT stay for us.

It is an excellent property at Chanakyapuri. Especially for Visa interview or one day stay in Delhi. Gave us such a cosy feeling and the ambience was very warm and ethnic! My friend and I, simply enjoyed my stay and it's hospitality.
