Vistara - Fleet Size
Under the partnership of Tata Sons Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited, Vistara is officially registered as TATA SIA Airlines Limited right from its operation year of 2015. As of now, the Vistara flight fleet includes 32 aircrafts, divided between, Airbus A320-200, Airbus 320neo, and Boeing 737-800. Vistara – Baggage Allowance Policy
The baggage allowance policy of Vistara is similar to what other airlines are offering in India. They allow maximum of 7kg hand baggage in economy class, 10kg hand baggage in premium economy and upto 12 kg hand baggage in business class cabins. Passengers can carry additional hand baggage like a laptop bag or ladies handbag only if it meets the size requirements of the overhead cabin or can be kept under the seat. The hand baggage should not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 20cm in dimension in any case. As far as the check-in baggage is concerned, Vistara allows up to 15 kgs check-in baggage for economy class tickets which is standard, whereas the limit its raised up to 20kg for economy flexi and premium economy lite. The premium economy check-in baggage limit is up to 25kg and 30kg for premium economy flexi. For business class, the check-in baggage limit is 30kg for business class lite, 35kg for standard business class and 40kg for business class flexi. These rules are primarily for domestic Vistara flights only and may vary for international flights.
Vistara – Web Check-In and Documentation
Vistara allows its passengers to make hassle free web check-in so that they can avoid standing in long ques at the airport. By following some simple steps, one can do the web check-in from the comfort of their office or home and take the print out of their e-ticket for easy entry and check-in at the airport.
