Places to visit
Godavari river, the second-longest river after Ganga is a point of the major attraction in Rajahmundry. It is a pilgrimage site for Hindus for thousands of years. The Pushkaram fair is held every 12 yrs on the banks of Godavari river, which attracts a large number of pilgrims from all parts of the country. Other than Godavari river and its bridge, Pushkar Ghat and Sir Arthur Cotton Museum are other two points of attraction here.  Pushkar Ghat is surrounded by several temples.
