About Akasa Air
Akasa Air Operation
Akasa Air – Fleet Size
Because the airline is still in its early stages, it will begin operations with two Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and will gradually expand its fleet. They intend to add at least 18 aircraft to their fleet by the end of 2022, with a goal of having 72 ultra-modern, brand-new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft powered by the highly fuel-efficient CFM LEAP-1B engine in their fleet within the next five years.
According to the airline, the 737 MAX family of aircrafts are designed to offer low seat mile costs due to their low operational costs, which are backed by high reliability, superior performance, and enhanced passenger experience. When compared to other aircraft, low maintenance aircraft produce up to 50% less noise. Every Boeing 737 MAX family plane has modern interiors with LED lighting, sculpted sidewalls, and comfortable seats to improve the overall cabin experience.
Akasa Airlines also takes pride in bringing to the competition the country's greenest and youngest fleet, with 50% less noise and 20% less fuel emissions, making it one of the most environmentally friendly air carriers.
