Ailen Hotel

The hotel was locked when we reached there. The contact number that were given voucher were either wrong or unreachable. We had to google hotel phone number to finally connect to receptionist. We had to wait for close to 30 minutes before hotel gate was opened and we were let inside. had mentioned elevator but there is no elevator there. We had to drag luggage ourselves to the first floor. Receptionist trying different keys to open the doors but could not open it. Few minutes later, actual guest of the room came and opened the door. The receptionist did not have a clue whether room is occupied or not. Then again we had to carry the luggage to ground floor. This time we were given a basic room which was entirely different from the room we booked. We had booked deluxe double room but we were told that they are sold out. On complaining, she took us to neighboring building and asked to wait for an hour. Again we had to carry luggage by ourselves and this time to third floor. The room was not properly cleaned. It did not have TV, kettle and lots of amenities that were mentioned in the description. Worse, it reeked of dead rat smell. But we were tired after overnight flight from Delhi and did not have energy to look for new hotel. So we accepted it even though we were unhappy. No room service was done throughout our stay. This was very pathetic experience. Room did not have Tv, kettle. No room service was provided. Room smelled like a dead rat. No elevator in hotel.

Hotel was near one of the popular streets therefore location is best, rooms are small but have all the basic amenities. We got it on the ground floor next to reception therefore there was lot of noise entire day.... rest everything was great.
