Baiyun City Hotel

EXCELLENT HOTEL AND SERVICE I was looking for a decent and not so expensive hotel for My visit during the canton fair and found Baiyun City Hotel on goibibo which looked good and had good reviews and price was also good. I had a very good experience at the hotel and I would divide the review into different categories. This review should be more helpful for you if you are an Indian traveller or traveller looking to go to Canton fair. Location- The hotel is located very conveniently next to Guangzhou railway station. If you are coming from airport you can take the airport shuttle bus to railway station. Otherwise there is good connectivity via metro station at about 100 metres away. Taxis are also easily available from near the hotel. There is a 24x7 convenience store outside the hotel so you can buy anything you want. For INDIAN travellers the hotel is around 2-3 km away from the lujinglu road which has some good Indian restaurants. You can walk or a taxi would charge approx 10-15 rmb for the same. CANTON FAIR- Most hotels provide a shuttle service for canton fair visitors and this hotel is no different. There are 2 shuttle buses departing at 8.30 am and 9.15 am for the canton fair and return timings are 4.45pm and 5.45 pm (Might be changed as per days and phases). Map of canton fair and other important things is provided and on return water and other refreshments are provided. Umbrellas are there incase of rain and the hotel staff is very clearly visible with a big board with hotel name. So 10/10 marks for canton fair service. FOOD- Buffet breakfast is included with room and there is nothing special here for vegetarians. If you are vegetarian you would have to be satisfied with fruits or bread or croissants etc. Otherwise there are few other non veg options but nothing special but nothing bad as well. SERVICE- The hotel staff was very good and helpful. Unlike many other places We got UNLIMITED supply of water bottles from the staff at Our floor. No idea if this is hotel policy or she was extra considerate for Us but this gesture of her has made 1 happy customer for the hotel. So full marks to her. Rooms- Rooms are good, clean and have decent normal facilities. Traveller tip- Go for a TWIN bed room (which has 2 single beds) instead of a double bed room. It is around 30 rmb more expensive but is quite spacious unlike the double bed room which is TOO cramped so much so that you cant even put your luggage on the floor. Overall verdict- 10/10. Would definitely stay there next time and would recommend to others as well.

It is everange hotal business or want to go for watchmarket. Hotel is ok rest everithing is good not so like not so bad It is 2 star compartable hotel No so high figh hotel. Near both railways station metro or for shenzhen best part but little far away form india restaurant 2 km Taxi chsrge 15 RMB

its a very basic hotel with small rooms and ciggarete smoke all over as it is permanent. the only good thing is that it is on walking distance to all wholesale markets and has kfc and a 7/11 store under it.however my suggestion is avoid..its equivalent to a 1 star hotel may be.

good hotel good location rooms are very small staff is good and polite only one bed thing person on reception counter is very rough and worst person Mr jack or mac something that I forgot his name rest all is good breakfast is not for Indian so don't take breakfast
