Omega Regency Colombo

Me and My Boss and another collegue with his wife along with their infant visited srilanka in Feb 2016 for an Orthodontic conference. booked this after going through the******. I wanted a good descent hotel for Rs.****-**** INR a day because most of the day time we will be out in the conference. we wanted room primarily for night stay . The hotel is located close to all --all I mean-- Hotels, restaurants, malls, shops, particularly South Indian Breakfast hotels. Though we reached early morning from chennai---Within 5 minutes they had arranged check in. The reception people are very courteous. A person by name Sameera was there in the reception in the night duty for all the 5 days we stayed over there. He has guided us how to spend in colombo and how much can we pay to auto like these kind of small things. It is a very very budget type of hotels. A small eatout or restaurant is attched in the ground out and boys can serve you in the room. Bath rooms are good neat and clean. The hot water is not working some times . Overall worth it staying over there.

Hotel is at centre of the city on the main road, staff were very courteous (the lady with brown colored hair was infact overly courteous, so was great). clean and neat room with all the necessary amnesties.. they have WiFi on each floor, lot of TV channels unlike other hotels in Sri Lanka, great value for money

Hotel needs to be renovation. Found cocoa chest in the room. Staff is very co-operative & with helping nature. Foul smell in the room.

AC wasn't working after complaining they tried lots but it was not worked. Need to improve restaurant quality
