The hotel location is good. There are two nearby metro stations, the closest is Bendemeer MRT and another is lavender MRT. you can get unlimited pass from lavender mrt only.This pass works in both Metro and buses. Little india is also closer by and can be reached through walking. Front desk staff was also quick and efficient, didn't take much time to complete the check-in formalities. They would keep 100 SGD as refundable deposit during check-in and will provide receipt of same.Hotel room interi ...more

Hotel room was good although small. Bathroom room was good. No health faucet along with WC. Toiletries, Water Bottle, Coffee and Tea Maker provided in hotel. Reception staff was polite and nice. Location is about 15min walk from Mustafa Center. Amanda Bhavan Indian restaurant is located on 10min walk.

We had a 8 days stay at Aqueen Lavender (From Oct 21 - Oct 30, 2019). Family of 3 (w/ 9 year old)
- The rooms are decent sized and shower area is little smaller than some people would expect. (I usually don't care much on this as long as it is clean b/c we end up spending most of our time outside)
- There is a mini-fridge, hot water maker for tea/coffee (sachets are provided), TV, 1 Indian & US plug outlets (multiple Singapore outlets). 2 cups to be used for coffee and so on.

I would mainly recommend this place for its location. Rooms are small but its cozy and comfortable.Right opposite to hotel is bendemeer mrt stop,infront of hotel is the bus stop. Indian food street is walkable from this place and centre to many attractions. Staff is very friendly.

Best budget hotel to go for.
Pros:
-Has 2 metro stations next to it. So roaming around becomes easy
-Almost next to little India, so easy access to Vegetarian food
-Cheap
- Best room view
Cons:
- Bit smaller rooms compared to 3-4star hotels
- No lock to bathroom door

Breakfast buffet is good, suitable for an Indian palate.
Bendameer MRT(train) is just opposite so traveling was very easy to different places and was cost effective
We never used a taxi
Friendly staff
Clean hotel
Bathroom is ofcourse small but managable
Close to little India, Mustafa center ,and Chinatown
Keep the same going aqueen
