They're short staffed and took forever to check-in even when we reached the hotel at 5 pm. They told that they're getting the room ready which shouldn't be the case since we already were checking in pretty late.
The room was smelly as if someone used the washroom or something and remained so throughout the stay.
The hotel staff wasn't helpful when we asked them to help us with a type-C cable since ours wasn't working. They made us wait in the middle of the night and then left saying they'll be ...more

Really satisfied by choosing arena beach hotel , with a breath taking view every morning, the yummies and variety breakfast and dinner , amazing drinks at their bar .
Will recommend for someone who wants to keep their travel pocket friendly

This is one of the most expensive hotel in Maafushi. However, services are not up to the standards.1. Reception numbers are non-responsive. You keep calling it and lucky if it gets lifted.2. There are three building adjacently with name Arena Beach. Arena Sea view and Arena Grand view. However, all the bookings are accepted in the name of Arena Beach only. Infinity pool is in Arena Beach and if you get any other building, you have to move to another building to use it.3. Some of the benefits promised while booking were not provided.

The location is terrific. The rooms are bit small, also avoid rooms on first and second floor, in the premium seaside rooms, the balcony there has no privacy. Also there is a building being constructed just beside the hotel so there was noise in lower floor rooms. But view from upper floor rooms was awesome, i guess it is called premium super deluxe or something. The beach and vibe around is awesome. If possible prefer upper floor rooms only. We had ours on 7th.

excellent stay, professional staff and service.
only suggestion is to get more options for vegetarian in dinner buffet and breakfast.
