Aqueen Hotel Lavender (SG Clean - Staycation Approved)

We had a 8 days stay at Aqueen Lavender (From Oct 21 - Oct 30, 2019). Family of 3 (w/ 9 year old) - The rooms are decent sized and shower area is little smaller than some people would expect. (I usually don't care much on this as long as it is clean b/c we end up spending most of our time outside) - There is a mini-fridge, hot water maker for tea/coffee (sachets are provided), TV, 1 Indian & US plug outlets (multiple Singapore outlets). 2 cups to be used for coffee and so on. - Hot water available 24 hours with all shampoo/soaps and even daily fresh toothbrush/toothpaste provided. - Very good Wifi. - Bendmeer MRT (8 min walk) & Lavender MRT (15 min walk). All buses stops are nearby. We did all our sightseeing using public transport. I bought all my travel tickets using cash, because as per my calculations, buying tourist pass is expensive and I was right :) - Unfortunately I missed out on breakfast during booking, but it looked good. There are lots of places to eat around within 5 minutes diameter. If you eat non-veg there are soooo many options. Me being vegetarian, there is a place as well open 24 hours. Dosa, Idli, Egg items, ... you name it and per person won't cost more than S$5 and full stomach. - Mustafa mall is 15 minutes walking distance (open 24 hours), you will find everything I mean everything, souvenirs are also as cheap as in Bugis street.- Staff was very nice people and polite as well. We were also allowed to stay till 2 PM since my flight was at 7 PM. There are so many indian restaurants here. - If you reach early, the hotel also has luggage area while you roam around. - Checkout time is 12 PM, however you can get extended to 2 PM. We did that by posting it on FB.

The hotel location is good. There are two nearby metro stations, the closest is Bendemeer MRT and another is lavender MRT. you can get unlimited pass from lavender mrt only.This pass works in both Metro and buses. Little india is also closer by and can be reached through walking. Front desk staff was also quick and efficient, didn't take much time to complete the check-in formalities. They would keep 100 SGD as refundable deposit during check-in and will provide receipt of same.Hotel room interiors was average in looks & small in size but i heard that in Singapore most of the hotel rooms are small. Since my room was twin bed, the hotel staff helped join the two beds as i was travelling along with my 8 year kid. even though room size was small i was able to manage as we spent very less time in hotel since most of the time were out for sightseeing. The bathroom is also small and there is place enough to just stand in & take shower (for plus size people it might get difficult). The toilet & bathroom entrance has no inside lock, but as door gets sealed so didn't face major issue due to it :) . Hot water is available in bathroom all the time. They provide hand/bath soap & dental kit but quality of toothbrush is not good, suggest to carry your own.Overall i would say it was an okay and manageable stay at the cost it is offered ...

We stayed at Aqueen Lavender in June-2017 for four nights. Singapore is one of the most expensive cities. Aqueen gives you best in class comfort at good rates. It's budget hotel without luxurious amenities however it satisfies all basic requirements for pleasant stay. Staff is very courteous and quick. Check in and check out are fast. Location of hotel is also a positive point. Lavender MRT station is just 15 mins walk from hotel. Street food is also available by same distance.Hotel rooms are small but enough for good stay. All tour operators provides pick up from Aqueen Hotel.

I have stayed in 3 hotels Aqueen lavender for 3 days , Arton boutique hotel for 2 days and Parc sovereign hotel for 2 days all of them were good if I need to rate them then lavender 4 , Arton 4.5 & Parc 5. The only thing which I didn't like about lavender was I paid the full amount through Goibibo then also we had to give the security deposit of $100 for each room.
