Century Langkawi Beach Resort

Stayed at Century Langkawi Beach Resort during my Langkawi Trip in January. We had a Garden View Room but the Management was kind enough to upgrade it to a Sea View Room so that can be a tip to atleast ask them about it beacuse the view from the latter is amazing. Rooms were Huge and Quite Comfortable. The swimming pool area alongside the beach is worth it especially in the evening time when they have Music playing and a Pool side Bar. Breakfast Buffet also had good options although i wont suggest the place for Lunch or Dinner since you have better options in Langkawi. Only complaint would be that there is no WiFi in the rooms..tho the Reception has it. But there are areas in the Hotel they need to improve because they looked old, faded and in a not so good condition and required upgradation. As for the location, it is 10 min drive from the airport and a 10 min drive to Cable Car & Sky Bridge. Although it is quite far from the popular Chenang Beach and also from the Eagle Square & Market areas. But we had hired a Car as per the advice of the helpful lady at the Travel Desk so not a major issue in roaming around. Overall a good experience and would recommend it if you looking at a stay in Langkawi.

We got a free upgrade to partial sea view and the room provided was fabulous. It is very spacious and fully equipped(except for a microwave oven) .It is great value for money. It might be slightly difficult for vegetarians as the food menu does not have many vegetarian options. It only has 3-4 veg options in total. Yet the breakfast buffet has a variety of breads, cornflakes and sweet confectioneries that would appease vegetarians. The restaurant is located by the sea and offers a beautiful view while dining. The swimming pool is big and very aesthetically located. There is also a bar/drinks counter adjoining the pool where you can enjoy drinks while in water. The front lobby is also very pleasant and vast. The lobby has workstations and a nice lounge. The staff are very professional and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay at Century Langkawi Beach Resort.

it is very good property but the current owners dosent have enough staff to maintain such a big property. the rooms are spacious and can be easily one of best rooms in langkawi but again property need terrific makeover of change of ownership ..my heart feels the pain to see such a great property to get spoiled because of the lack of maintenance.its a very good place of couples and people on the higher side of age as there is no party and loud music in this place ..not at all happening its you your room and the beach in front . i enjoyed my stay but yeah lot of things have to done to this property to get it up its full potential and breakfast menu could be improved.

hotel belonged to sheraton earlier so buildings and rooms were sheraton standard. staff was nice but hotel reception and lobby looked shabby . not well maintained thorough out. but still it was quite an amazing experience because they came right away to fix things in the room with a big smile on their face. private beach was amazing as well
