When we were searching for our options in Purulia then we got this hotel as one of the best budget options as per user ratings.1st of all room size is ok and we expected a bit bigger but it is manageable.Though telephone was not working but the reception was very cooperative regarding all my questions and was always helpful.That is the reason for giving 3 stars in service. Location is great and one cannot complain about that. Food quality and variations especially in thier well decorated restaurant is good although we didn't like the Laacha Paratha and chicken in manchurian was not soft enough.But still it is a value for money.We would definitely like to recommend this hotel to our friends and families.We loved staying here.

My experience this time in Purulia at Hotel Akash is poor. I have selected deluxe AC room, but what hotel has provided is not at all up to the mark. Noisy window AC, broken toilet cistern, TV was placed in such a manner if you seat on the bed half of the screen will not be visible to you. However food quality and quantity was good, staffs are well behaved and cooperating, located at the heart of the city.

Ok for all as it is an budget hotel for all, it has restaurant and bar attached here. But the food quality is very good. And rest of the hotel ambience is fine. It has lift you don't have carry your lagguages with you, some person will be there to help u. Room are fine but in some places in bathroom cobwebs are there but require cleaning up and rest is fine.
