I have been actively involved in the hospitality industry for over three years, primarily as the Operations Head at AmigosIndia Hostel in New Delhi, one of the most loved backpacker stays in the capital. My journey started with a deep love for travel and community building, and over time it evolved into a full-time role where I’ve managed everything from guest relations and team operations to marketing and social media growth. At AmigosIndia Delhi, I helped shape a hostel experience that blends comfort, culture, and connection. We’ve hosted travelers from over 30 countries, including solo backpackers, digital nomads, artists, and long-term guests, and built a reputation for creating meaningful interactions through events like jam nights, board game evenings, cultural dinners, and volunteer programs. I believe a great stay is about more than just a bed, it’s about belonging and shared stories. Building on that foundation, I recently co-founded AmigosIndia Kasol, a riverside hostel and café located in the peaceful village of Katagla, Himachal Pradesh. This project has allowed me to apply my on-ground operations experience to a nature-driven, community-focused space. From designing the property layout and curating pet-friendly stays to running Rollers Cafe (our in-house rooftop café with snooker, foosball, and live sundowners), I’ve been involved in every detail. My hosting philosophy is simple, treat every guest as a friend. I ensure every traveler feels at home, whether it’s helping them plan local treks, introducing them to hidden cafés, or just sharing stories over coffee. Hosting for me is personal, creative, and ever-evolving, it’s about creating places people remember long after they leave.
