0/5 - Extremely Disappointing Experience at Amritam Palace, Jodhpur, RajasthanI recently had the misfortune of staying at Amritam Palace, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, from 19th September 2024 to 25th September 2024. The hotel's substandard services, contaminated food, and unsanitary conditions made my stay a nightmare.Issues Faced:1. Flies in the Eating Zone: From Day 1, there was a constant presence of flies, requiring manual removal while eating. No adequate solution was provided on Day 1 or thereafter. There was slight improvement only after an event cleanup on Day 2 in the eating zone.2. Webs on Room Shoe Rack: Visible from Day 1, indicating poor housekeeping. This was only cleaned after reporting it to the staff.3. Plastic Piece in Tomato Soup (19th Sept 2024): I partially consumed a plastic piece and only realized it after taking it out of my mouth. The staff apologized, and I forgave them, considering it an unintentional mistake.4. Dead Insect in Gutter Mutter Rice Dish (22nd Sept 2024): This was an unacceptable level of negligence, especially for pure Jain vegetarians fasting for 165 days. This incident cannot be forgiven.5. Fly Attack in Ear (22nd Sept 2024): This incident should be captured on the hotel entrance passage CCTV around 8:15 PM while returning to the hotel. The issue was reported to the reception staff.6. Mosquito Bite in Toilet (22nd Sept 2024) Late Night: I was bitten by a mosquito late at night when I went to the toilet. I slapped my legs in defense and found the dead mosquito after turning on the lights. I reported this to room service in the morning as it was too late at night. The incident was photographed and videographed by both the staff and me.7. Repeated Insect Sightings (24th Sept 2024): Insects, flies, and bugs were found in the room thrice. The staff came, clicked photos and videos, and cleaned it up. There were repeated incidents of insects in the eating zone, hotel passage, bathrooms, main living room, and even in the food.8. Poor Wi-Fi Connectivity and No Smart TVs: The Wi-Fi connection was poor, and there were no smart TVs available.9. Misleading Pictures: The areas shown while booking were different from the actual usable area. Only pictures related to the hotel should be posted.10. Lack of Basic Bathroom Facilities: No small table or stool in the bathroom, and no jet spray for the shower. You have to use a mug and bucket for a shower if you don't want to use the top shower point.11. Frequent Power Cuts: Frequent power cuts in the night during the stay.12. Delayed Tata Play Recharge: This required several attempts by several staff members before being resolved.13. Location Issues: The hotel is far from the city and main attractions. A private vehicle is recommended as Ola and Uber don't arrive on time at this location. The minimum fare is ₹300 to any place.14. Focus on Events over Guests: The hotel's primary focus seemed to be on event income and customers rather than on hotel guests.Disappointing Aspects:Lack of cleanliness and hygiene.Substandard food quality.Inattentive staff.No corrective action despite complaints to top-level management.No regrets expressed by top-level management for any of the incidents, as if it was normal for them.Lack of knowledge of hotel and hospitality standards at all levels.Cleanliness: 0/5Service: 1/5Food: 0/5Value: 1/5Location: 0/5Recommendation: NoReturn to Hotel: NoReturn to Jodhpur: Yes

fraud alert!! it's a banquet and not a hotel. the photos are deceptive. you're given room at the back of the facade that's being displayed for booking. property is not maintained. you are always surrounded by guests of marriage function. food is good. but service is slow. you ask for something but that's gonna take minimum of 4 hours with regular follow up. 6000 per night is a total waste. you only get to see wall of the front banquet hall all the time l. total waste of money. you can book much decent property with this amount. every sightseeing place is 30 mins away from the stay.

The food at Amritam Palace deserves special mention The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. The housekeeping staff ensured a clean and comfortable environment throughout my stay.

Amritam Palace was a perfect gateway in Jodhpur! The Resort has huge lawns and banquets and the arches and exterior is beautifully designed with heritage feels. The staff is very polite and ready to help, we had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food was mouth watering. Overall a great Stay!!
