It was an amazing stay in Ashoka and i would highly recommend this place. Location:- 10/10. The hotel is located at a walkable distance from Rameswaram temple. Price:- 10/10. The rooms are quite reasonable. We opted for 2 queen bed room. Cleanliness:- 10/10. The rooms and bathrooms were quite tidy and well maintained. You get a balcony as well to dry your clothes. Food:- The breakfast buffet was really nice even though it didn't have much variety. The taste was nice. The lunch and dinner service time was little longer than expected but it didn't compromise the quality. Service:- 20/10. The service of all the staffs (starting from reception till cleaning staffs) needs an applause. There were quite a few scenarios to experience this as we were travelling with family having 2 kids with us. 1. We were supposed to check out on 19th September to come back to Madurai. However due to some sudden health emergencies of my 2 years old nephew we asked them to extend our bookings (only for one room) just for 5 more hours. Generally all the hotels charge for one whole day even though you extend your stay for few more hours. But this particular hotel was quite accommodating and charged only half day price and let us keep only one room for 8 adults and 2 kids. 2. As we had a 2 years old kid, we asked them to prepare khichadi (with our own specifications) and other kid friendly foods. The kitchen staffs understood our requirements and served us everything we wanted. Over all experiences:- 10/10. I would definitely plan to stay in Ashoka if i again visit Rameswaram .

Just go ahead and book it. Iam a fussy traveller when it comes to hygiene, veg food ,location, service etc but I was pleasantly surprised and will book my next stay only at this place. This is the best place: due to its proximity to the temple (3mins walk),clean hotel with clean rooms, hospitable smiling and helpful staff, quick service by staff, good breakfast option with very big car parking space, free wi-fi. Free high quality south Indian breakfast. Iam not sure if they had any other cuisine, safe place to stay with family for couple of nights. Hotel had sufficient rooms about 40 rooms. Iam glad i read the reviews here and booked it.Thanks for the pleasant stay.

Rooms were as mentioned in the pics of the hotel. Staff were helpful during check-in & check-out. We reached very late and they agreed to check-out late and did not cause any issue. Food was good, we enjoyed the breakfast there. Toiletries were provided with clean towels. Overall we had a good experience.

Excellent location and very near to the temple. Would recommend everyone who visits. And yes their parking is the safest I've seen so far The place itself. The in house restaurant serves really Authentic north Indian as well as south Indian food

I loved staying in hotel as the temple top was visible from my window every morning and evening I used to hear temple Aarti in my room as it was so near and I loved it ....hotel was also good food I liked in Hotel was "kulcha"
