Hotel Aura @ New Delhi Railway Station

Amenities only for names. Kettle in the room is not working. The kettle has 15 amp wire, while the socket near the table is 5 amp. I asked the staff and he said push the table near the fridge and you find the 15 amp socket. So first I have to push the table, and then carry the Kettle and other stuff to make coffee at a 15 amp socket. Staff take more than half an hour to serve simple tea. If you are hungry then it is better to go outside and eat. Because they take more than an hour to serve the food at room. It's like they don't have a kitchen, but to pretend the same they put the food menu card at room. whatever you order they take it from outside vendors in half price and serve to your room with double price. Staff given 1 sachet pack of tamato sauce with full plate Fried rice. when ask for chilli sauce staff simply asked they don't have chilli sauce, while many of items available in Menu, should serve or cook with chilli sauce. It simply means they take the orders from you and serve from an outside vendor with a double price.

Disappointed Booked three rooms for 13 people, 9 adults and 4 children specifying the age of all children. But the hotel asked additional payment of Rs.4000 to check in. . Atlast, amount adjusted and paid Rs.2000 before check in. Hotel is old but maintaining well. Complementary breakfast was good. Demanded Rs.1000 to extend the check out time of one room for 4 hours.

Every thing was good here. I booked a premium one so no complaints. But there's a issue with hot water. U have to ask them by calling to on the hot water supply. The cost is a bit higher than a normal hotel. The room was good for solo travellers as well as couple.
