Auro Oceanic Resort

Its a very sad hotel & shouldn't be called a resort at all. Very misleading property with very poor and inadequate infra or facilities supporting its positioning. 1. The rooms are not equipped (which means no cupboards or storage let alone coffee/tea machines or a mini fridge) 2) Bathrooms are boxed rooms without any storage even for towels 3) TV channels are a few insignificant hindi and tamil channels and not a single english or news channel 4) They have frequent power outs due to generator servicing 5) The terrace houses the eating area (can't be called a restaurant) and the terraces have no barricade- we shouted and saved a toddler from falling off the terrace which left us and the childs parents scared 6) the vessels are washed and dried on the terrace ground which means unhygenic 7) nothing much on the menu 8) no in-house entertainment or any kind of leisure activity to define it as a 'resort'.... in short very bad & distasteful experience. THE ONLY FANTASTIC thing was the enthusiasm to help by the manager UMA who went out of way to make us feel comfortable despite in the BERGAMOT or the OWNERS lackadaisical approach to creating facilities for this resort. Uma deserves kudos for making people feel good and this also includes the other staff around- they are friendly and people of the heart.

There is no facility to commute between hotel to main road. We haven't rented bike.So,for every travel auto need to be booked and the cost is above 200rs for each ride. around 5000rs I spent for only for auto.

very bad experience for us,There are management in the resorts, everything is managed by kitchen staff.No one responsible person is there.very bad situation at reception.

Not value for money. - Room facility is outdated - Rooms are not cleaned - Food is expensive - Out side city centre location
