The hotel has 2 blocks - for better views take a room in the 2nd block. Rooms are small but come with electric blankets though most of the time there is no electricity here. There is a TV in the room and the views are God too (only from 2nd block - that too few rooms only). For meals you will have to go to the 1st block but they are adjacent so there is not much walking. The food is good & served hot. But here you have no phone connections, no Wi-Fi, data services & also no electricity most of the time. But you can't complain & phone & internet connections have been cut by the govt. due to safety issues. The climate is good here so you won't feel the need for electricity in the day & during the night unless you need lights or a TV for which they do use generators at required times.

The biggest plus point of the hotel is its location. It's located on the main road from where the Thajiwas Trek begins. Additionally, the streams and mountains are easily accessible from the hotel rooms. The food is disappointing. We had ordered Chinese and it was barely edible to say the least. I would suggest you hop to the next hotel in the line and have your food there. Service is okayish. The owner is well behaved and caring but the staff seem clueless at times. Not a big problem TBH. Wi Fi is as good as being absent. Rooms are spacious and heating is provided in the rooms. The views from the rooms are just impeccable.

To start with the hotel is beautifully located with surrounding mountains and the river. The rooms are good and cosy with great view from the window. It is still new and has a lot of scope in improving the housekeeping services as they were not upto the mark as per the hotel ambience specifically the toiletries and towels. Food quality can be improved. The host makes sure that you get everything and dont experience any trouble.

A perfect hotel for family / couple , also good for group of friend. the staffs were very good , always smiling face , did there job perfectly , the room with the keys were ready before we reached , the Manager / reception guys was so friendly , don't believe in those critical reviews uploaded in the web , I was confused wheather I should book or not , I played my card and found the gem in sonamarg.

Hotel is good, just ensure you get the right amenities before checking in. Because, unless you let the hotelier know he will not be providing a room with geyser. Also, the dinner/breakfast arrangements are to be conveyed in advance. The view from hotel is very good and the seating in the backyard watching the Indus flow is an amazing experience.

Had the most amazing time in this hotel. The location of the hotel is amazing. Both the front and the backyard views are mesmerizing. We enjoyed their delicious food, riverside. The host Mohsin bhai is very friendly and warm. He also helped us get the pony till the glacier. I highly recommend this hotel.

Best budgeted hotel in Sonamarg. Since it was my first time here so i wanted my stay to be a good one. This hotel was upto our expectation. Neat & Clean room, staff is very friendly, view from room is jaw dropping, food was delicious. A perfect place to stay.

the location of hotel is just amazing surrounded by hills and river flowing backside creates a mesmerized experience. the peaceful environment there enhance your feel. rooms are old designed but manageable in a hillstation staff is very courteous the peace

a very good hotel for stay at sonmarg. hotel staff and manager were so humble. rooms clean. and enjoy the tea and pakoda there. our family including little child enjoy the stay. very good location.

Warm and comfortable rooms with excellent view from the room. Not aBle to use the amenities due to regular power cuts. Wifi was also poor. Got both rooms together and the view was beautiful

Really lovely view of hills from hotel premises. Really good & clean rooms. Heated mattress bed available which is really comfy in cold weather. Staff behavior is also good.
