Stay Simple Bison Manor is a home stay. Suitable for those who wants to spend time with each other away from their busy life. Positive points are: 1. Secluded, serene, simple place located amidst coffee plantation. 2. Ambience is slightly different 3. Amenities like trampoline, Snooker, Shuttle, TT, Carroms, Volleyball etc. We had nice time on the trampoline with kids and playing games. It's nice place play to lye down and relax. No TV in rooms but big TV if you wanna enjoy some movies. Negative points: 1. Food is ok which is cooked based on our choice. But, I felt they should have a menu card. It was shock to see certain rates at the end. Very much disappointed with food. White rice 110/-! Cards can't be used. 2. Road while reaching homestay is not good. For sight seeing around- 1. Tholpetty forest best time to visit could have been morning instead of evening. I felt Nagarhole was much better as we passed through that. 2. For safari in dubare elephant camp which is 60 km from here, you must reach in the morning as Elephant safari closes by 1 pm. 3. Irupu falls is sheer waste I felt as there was no much water in May-June. For which u need to walk 120 steps.

We decide to stay at Bison Manor over the weekend. The property is situated amidst coffee plantations. It is a nice vintage bungalow with huge, i mean really huge rooms. The size of the bathroom in itself bigger than any usual hotel room :D Though the building is old, bathroom is renovated and looks pretty new. The room will be with a vintage look. It will give the feeling of a jamindar :) They also have table tennis and snooker as indoor activities. We ordered Veg food and it was very good and cheap as well. Overall a nice stay at this place and feel its bang for the buck. Only downside is the road leading to the property. If you don't like a bi of offroading you might not like it. But it ain't nothing alarming. Just some muddy roads and any normal car would do without scrapping anything

We, four friends went to Nagarhole recently and this home stay was in perfect location to enjoy the monsoon. Last 2 km to the home stay is difficult to drive. We have booked two rooms for 5 persons. Both the rooms were spacious. Amenities were adequate for bachelors. There is arrangements for dining at night. Campfire can be arranged. Drinks has to be arranged self. Food preparation was good enough but of high price and as per the availability of the items. We were denied to bring the un-available items and provide for the cooking.Overall it was a nice experience amidst nature. A must go place.

Positives- Right in the lap of nature experience, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, no TV except in the common room, big wide rooms, gives a feel of *******'s Kodagu style of living, eerie silence at night, billiards, Table tennis, Carom,Badminton,trampoline available, good collection of books to read. Negative- Located 2 KM from the main road, road leading to manor is across thick coffee plantation and not tarred, frequent power cuts, not advisable to venture outside post 8PM

The road to homestay is very bad and approx. 2KM from Main Road Kutta. This homestay is simple overpriced for what they give. Pros: 1 time experience of stay in coffee estates can play snooker Friends of bigger group can enjoy Cons: Food is not good and is overly priced No TV in rooms, only one common TV is provided Nothing special in homestay like to watch for in coffee estate. I would suggest to go for someother place to stay and avoid(Specially for couples)

Amazing place for a nice weekend break. It's surrounded by trees, plantations. The service was good. Best part were the large rooms, with a balcony and the food. The food was homely and was made with local ingredients, specially the coffee too was from the Kutta town. This is an ideal place for people visiting the Nagarhole National Park. The only drawback is about 1km approach Road which is quite bumpy.

Not Recommended for Couple: First thing hotel is in the woods and almost 2 kms from main road with worst road. It is completely isolated from town and has no facility to pick you from main road. If you still decide to stay in hotel then please carry all your needs cause it is difficult to come back to town. Also group comes here to have booz and enjoy..so it is difficult for family to stay in.

Narayan is very good guy and he always help in all ways. I stayed my one day and enjoyed our stay like anything. Only downside is last one KM road to reach, I would recommend that is always there as we are going to stay in deep jungle. Only suggestion to next visitor please carry everything and do not try to come out many times to take small thing.

Quiet and serene, in the midst of woods. Well maintained and clean place. Very close to the Nagarhole National Park. Good, responsive service staff. Limited food options (probably because of the number of guests at the time) Lack of WiFi was a problem for me. But shouldn't bother people looking for a place away from the daily hustle bustle.

The property is good. But the last 2 kms to reach the hotel is off-road. So, its difficult if you are travelling with small vehicles. The food is extremely high priced. They have charged Rs ***for an egg curry (2 eggs), which I think is unacceptable. The service is not so good. The behavior of the manager left a negative impact in our mind.

There was no issue as such but location was bit scary, I was there with my family and my wife got scared as the hotel is deep in jungle area, I had booked this for two days but stayed only for one day next day shifted in other hotel because at night electricity was not proper, and they didn't started generator on time.

the resort is in the mid stuff nature and experience of staying here is soothing n memorable. it is well maintained and service is really good. also there are many sports activities too. stay at a such a beautiful place is worth spending for..

Road doesn't exist to reach the hotel. Need to use narrow mud road in hilly terrain. Otherwise the rooms, scenic background and food are good
