Carpe Diem Stay | Rooms & Caretaker

First the good stuff: 1. Great location, lovely outdoors. 2. Great wifi and good mobile coverage. 3. The attendant (Simon) is hardworking and looking to please. The place has potential but lack of adequate investment is holding it from being a memorable place. Let me give some examples: 1. Simple insect screens on windows would really help keep the room comfortable in the evenings. This is green country and insects rule here but they don't have to rule inside the rooms which they will if you keep the windows open. So the choice is between a room that either stuffy or over-run by insects. 2. There is a single overworked staff member who takes care of everything - cleaning, food, etc. There is no way he can manage the load. The result - I got my breakfast on the first day at 9:00 a.m. and the second day at 10:00 a.m. This puts a cramp in the day's plans. Plus the caretaker is at best an average cook. Given that the property is far from the town, one is dependent on his cooking abilities for food and his abilities leave a lot to desire.

Fantastic time spent! well maintained property, food is good, their hospitality is top notch, the place was well decorated and lighted welcoming Christmas celebrations. Recommend this place for couples and small families who look to spend some peaceful time while exploring the places nearby. Special thanks to Indresh and Simon for taking good care of us.The garden, limited rooms (less crowded), feel like home atmosphere, open garden breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I stayed here for a day with my wife & 3 year old son. I enjoyed this place very much. The ambience is awesome. My son enjoyed the jula & sleeping jula very much. Frankly speaking even I enjoyed sleeping in Jula. Spacious rooms & lot of space for parking.

It was good, staffs are well behaved.very quiet place even though it is near to main road. Rooms are neat you cant expect premium service
