Colonels Inn Villa | Rooms & Caretaker

Had a wonderful stay at Colonels Inn, the hospitality and food was amazing. The rooms were spacious, neat and clean, the food was awesome .. we stayed for two nights and had most of our meals there which were good in taste and economical. Also, the quantity of the food was more than sufficient. Botanical Garden and Moodys chocolate is walking hardly 300 mts. Railway station is 3 kms, its in center of ooty. The behaviour of caretaker Gopal and other members were good and helpful. Btw Gopal is a very good chef. Hot drinking water is provided and available on dining table. All the rooms have standing fans and are equipped with Geysers. Overall experience was excellent and they deserve 5/5 rating.

this is a private bungalow converted into a hotel, staff is very good and 5hry help.you out as and when you need. there is no power backup so unfortunately when I stayed there out of 3 night one full.nighy we slept without electricity. the power cut reason was told to me was due to weather but in anyways it must have some power backup as when u r in a hotel u can not stay in a candle light. I informed owner about the same..overall due to the staff cooperation we managed well.. they can add 2 more staff for on time service and they struggle if all.guests starts dinner of breakfast at same time.

Maybe the best place to comfortably stay in Ooty . The best thing about the villa is the location in which it is. The place is so quite and comfortable to live after coming exhausted from travel around Ooty. The staff is also very polite and we'll mannered and would quickly response to any requests asked by customers. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who likes to stay in a quiet and refreshing environment. I would plan my stay here again if I visit Ooty in near future. had a wonderful stay at colonels inn. the care taker, mr. gopal, called us to check the check-in time, and directions were also shared although we know the route. the check-in process was ultra smooth, and there was a hand sanitizer at the reception. the room itself is ready with all the toiletries and fresh towels. hot water for drinking was made available. room service was excellent as was the breakfast. cut fruits were served along with unlimited breakfast serving.
