I had gone with 3 friends and all of us fell in love with the beautiful place. Jaya and Raja treated us like their own kids and the place felt more like home than a hotel. It's an old, quiet, traditional South Indian house but has all the modern amenities including AC, hot shower and jetspray. White Town, the Promenade and many restaurants are at a walking distance and we did not have any problems regarding travel. However, this might not be the place you are looking for if you wish to live in a fancy hotel with a variety of comforts available and/or plan to stay out till late (they shut the doors at 11pm). Also, the breakfast or meal options are very limited within Coramandel. But having said this, I don't see myself living anywhere else the next time I visit Pondicherry!

A perfect place to stay with your family.. walkable distance from the prominent place of attractions, such as the rock beach/ promonade beach, Pondicherry museum, the Aurobindo ashram, handmade paper mill etc. Only concern is check in time is 12 pm... That's pretty ockward.. because if you are reaching there in morning, you have to wait till 12 pm to get your room. However, staffs are very friendly. They will properly guide you about each and every locations. For me, this is a place you can get into if you love peace, far from the loud noise and party loving people.. they also have good collection of books , you can read those in your free time.

this is one of the best small hotels in puducherrry, just 10 minutes walking distance from beech and promenade, close to main market, yet away from hustle and bustle. old style architecture. very quiet. nice clean rooms. far better than standard typical hotel rooms. value for money. if you want to chill and have a quiet vacation, this is the place for you. aurovindo ashram, main temple, anand bhavan, surguru spot, cafe, hotel promenade are very close. so is cathedral notre dame and two nice book shops. i stayed only one day, was pressed for time. next morning, manager dropped me at the bus stop on his bike. where will you get such service?

Not a resort type but a neat and decent couple friendly rooms (150 years old French-Tamil house) at a budget price. Previously they used to provide free complementary breakfast, looks like they have stopped it now. Otherwise I would have given 5 star for this place. No dedicated parking facility available but you can park the car in the road at your own risk. Located at the heart of the white town , so you can access beach, shopping malls, restaurants at walkable distance. I will surely come and book again here whenever I come to Pondy in future and will recommend this place for my friends.

It was an awesome experience. The staffs are so humble and frank. The breakfast they provided was ample and refreshing. Rooms were clean and spacious. Slept well there. They also arranged cab for us for sightseeing as well. The location is perfect, with all the tourist spots of Pondicherry and the popular White Town just walking distanced away from the hotel. It is also a heritage building here so the ambience was fine. Overall, I and my family, enjoyed the stay at Hotel Coramandal Heritage, and will prefer again to stay there, during a revisit to Pondicherry.

This is a Tamil house converted to a hotel. So you get the feel of staying in someone's home, yet within the comfort of a hotel. Rooms are basic, but classy. The best you can get in this budget. Owners are friendly and very helpful. Assisted me in getting bikes and also recommended awesome restaurants when I told them what I'm craving for. Definitely worth a second visit. Would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much on stay, but also do not want to compromise on the services.

Hotel is more of traditional Tamil house. Nice courtyard inside! Not a typical hotel. Ambience is nice and has all the amenities. Located in heritage town next to MG road. Promenade and white town is 10 minutes walking distance. Other good restaurants are also on walking distance. Don't know about food as we did not had anything in this hotel as the other restaurants are nearby. Rooms are pretty nice, comfortable and clean. We were there for two nights! Worth the money !

I travelled alone and as a girl safety was my first priority... this hotel is a veryyy good option for budget safe hotel...its quite centrally placed.. hardly 10 mins walking from all attractions... 1 min walking distance to cafe xtasi... the owner Mrs Jaya is a veryyyy hospitable lady... she took care of every need and made sure the stay was comfortable... ill definitely stay here again

We reached the property late night and the check-in was smooth. The rooms were very neatly maintained. Got an awesome deal in goibibo. Its in a perfect spot from many famous food restaurants like Cafe Xstasi, Surguru Restaurant, Canteen 18. The Pasta Bar Veneto, etc. Overall, Thumbs up for this one!

I strongly recommend everyone to choose this hotel for its location and most important, service! They are very friendly and cooporative. Our bus back home is late in the evening, however, they asked us to wait until we are ready to go.. I shall book this hotel for my next visit to Pondicherry :)

we had a great weekend there .The place is very peaceful and clean. Beach, Park and Church are walkable distance. If you visit on Sunday ,you can buy lots of things at Sunday market. Whenever I planned to go Pondicherry, my 1st choice would be coramandal.

This is a superb property. Location is excellent. Uncle there (I think he is the owner) is a gem of a person. So is the receptionist- Saraswati. Breakfast is awesome. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.
