Hello and warm greetings, I’m Lata , a teacher, a mother of two beautiful children, and the proud wife of a valiant Army officer. This cottage, nestled in the calm embrace of the Kumaon hills, was once a quiet dream , a retirement retreat my husband and I often envisioned, where mornings would begin with birdsong and evenings with tea under a starlit sky. But life, as it often does, had other plans. I lost not only my partner but the future we had planned together. The interiors are warm, homely, and designed with thought, not trends, wooden accents, comfortable furnishings, plenty of natural light, and a kitchen where meals are still made with care. There’s a spacious terrace that opens out to the hills and skies, perfect for yoga at sunrise, a quiet read in the afternoon sun, or stargazing at night. It's a home built with heart, not hurry.
