Deeshari Abokash

Had an excellent stay in the property. This is not a conventional hotel room. It’s a studio apartment in one of the premium residential complex named “Dishari Abokash” near Bolpur, Shantiketan situated near Kankalitala. Location of the property is amidst nature. While standing in the balcony you can enjoy the view of the lush green pady fields spread across as far as your vision goes. The famous Kopai river of Shantiniketan is just a few mins walk from the entrance of the complex. From the Kopai river bridge in the evening you can a magnificent view of the sunset. The property has all the basic amenities required for comfortable stay. The room is of huge size and comparatively larger than conventional hotel rooms. It can comfortably accommodate 3 adults. The room has got one king size bed and a foldable sofa cum bed which is of very light weight and such can be placed any where in the room as per your convenience. Apart from this the room has got basic amenities like a cupboard/almirah, electric kettle, plates, coffee cups and basic toiletries. Though the owner himself was not present but he ensured we had a comfortable stay. Regarding fooding, Swiggy Zomato delivers food in the property, please ensure to update the location properly in case you want to order food from these online platforms. The owner recommended a hotel named “Ranagamati Garden resort” with which he has tie up and delivers food to the guest at a nominal delivery charge (from us they charged Rs 50 per delivery). The campus itself is highly scenic with lush green lawns, garden and a variety of trees and some sculptures. You can spend a nice time in the campus itself enjoying the greenery. Ample car parking facilities are present in the campus. Since it’s not a conventional hotel room service was not available. However help with luggage handling during check-in and check out and room cleaning services were arranged by the owner. We enjoyed our stay in the property thoroughly and will plan for our stay in the same property in during our future visits to Shantiniketan

Overall experience was very good,a calm composed place,though not a conventional hotel ,this is located inside a housing complex full of lush greenery and beautiful set up.The owner of this property is easily reachable and will always help whenever required.He helped me with all the tips on how to get around this place including arranging an auto for local sight seeing. The room was clean and washroom had proper facilities.Food can be ordered at your own convenience from swiggy/Zomato or there is a nearby restaurant which serves food.The owner had provided the contact details and it was fast and convenient.The stay was pleasant and overall rating is a 5*..Thanks Riju Ray for all your help and cooperation.
