Namaste and welcome to Dorjee Homestay. I am a proud local of Darjeeling, where the mountains, mist, and tea gardens have shaped my way of life. By profession, I am engaged in hospitality, but by heart, I am someone who truly enjoys meeting new people and creating a comfortable, home-like experience for every guest. My interests lie in exploring nature, learning about different cultures, and sharing the simple beauty of hill life. I love spending time in peaceful surroundings, enjoying a good cup of Darjeeling tea, and discovering quiet corners of the hills that many travelers often miss. One special thing about me is that I enjoy guiding my guests personally whether it’s suggesting hidden viewpoints, arranging local experiences, or sharing stories about our traditions and lifestyle. A small fun fact I know a few secret sunrise spots where the view of Kanchenjunga feels truly magical. My inspiration to host comes from our culture of warmth and respect, where guests are treated like family. I believe a homestay should not just be a stay, but a feeling of comfort, belonging, and memorable moments.During your stay, I will do my best to make you feel at home, help you explore Darjeeling beyond the usual tourist spots, and create an experience you will always remember.Looking forward to hosting you.
