Overall the rooms are comfortable but lack ventilation. The main problem with the hotel is 1. On maps - the location is wrong. And nobody including the manager, thought it was important to inform their guests beforehand. Infact when asked, the manager Rinchen was pretty rude and said you should have called and checked instead of roaming round and round for so long. Their phone was not even reachable. He didnt even bother to welcome or inform us about basic things like meal timings, amenities etc. 2. The second issue is the staff at the property. Apart from the manager at the reception, the restaurant staff was also pretty rude. They werent able to manage a decent breakfast spread for which they charge 850++ which i think is exorbitant for the poor variety they served. The eggs got over in the breakfast and when asked for hot milk - the waiter actually asked us to have a sandwich instead as he wasnt willing to warm the milk. They were a bit rude and didnt quite understand the meaning of hospitality. Location is central, but there seemed to be manyyyy good options around the area -- which i will consider next time ! Property is maintained but the service quality is very poor. Spread of breakfast was horrible and overall staff courtesy and service quality is bad and hence this rating of 3. This rating of 3 is only because of the fact that the property is well maintained but there ia nothing beyond this.

loved the stay here. staff was extremely hospitable and the property is stunning. food was delicious, rooms were neat and spacious. overall - a great stay option in leh!
