Excellency Resort & Spa

Stayed at this so-called resort for 2 days. I would not recommend go here at all.I paid for one night, and its worth just 1.5k per night max.this is a lodge with a swimming pool, not a resort.Some points about this Excellency Lodge1. responsive housekeeping and kitchen staff.2. Dirt Swimming pool. Yellow mud stored at corner of pool.3. No indore amenities. its mentioned they have Chess n Carrom but in real nothing.4. just for name sake, you will see a kids area. 5. one volleyball/badminton court you will get with limbing polls and torn net.6. no lift, and this is a 4 floor building.7. your washroom windor opens up to the common area.8. very, very, very poor quality food. 9. they try to goof up the food bill, be careful.10. reception is somewhère on another planet.11. dont expect that you will go there and spend some peaceful time with activities, nothing is there apart from a dirty pool.12. pics uploaded by resort guys are filtered and morphed.13. it is located at Khushalnagar, in the main city. Don't expect any greenery or forest. You will hear vehicles honking every time.15. i repeat, this is a lodge, not a resort. It's not worth more than 1.5k per night.

The resort was definitely under staffed when we visited. Had to call reception multiple times to get basic things like towels and soap. It should have been in the room on check in also, for a /night room, the amenities were insufficient. There was no sofa, fridge, table, chairs and hairdryer in the room. The complimentary breakfast was good and had only vegetarian options. No fresh omelette or dosas were provided. The only good thing we felt was the pool which was clean. But still a lack of towels and pool chairs near the pool made it a bit uncomfortable to keep our stuff. Overall and average resort with average facilities. They could do better by training staff to be polite and guest friendly and improve on infrastructure.

Resort is on main highway in Kushal nagar. You will not miss it. Since this is Kushal City limits this is not inside any tea plantation. Swimming pool is good. Food was very good. No over spicy or oily. Manager was very polite. this is a new place so services will take time. Also some of the basic things like Kettle and Tea/Coffee makers were not there. Not sure if this was not there in room which we have booked but now a days these are very basic services irrespective of room type. Would recommend if someone is looking for a place on highway and within city limits.

it is taking heavy price for no value food breakfast was lower than any good resort offer (no healthy options like fruits or juice)swimming pool was bad no accommodation for family of 4 like 2 adult and 2 kids no proper accomodation like family room no body picked up phone when i booked room when we arrive there were asking 2000 extra for early check in ..we arrived around 5 am they are just maintaining the resort around but no value for money as customer are not happy for the above things mostly
