Our stay at Hotel Fotiya was excellent! The rooms were great and the bed really comfortable. But what stood out the most was the people. So kind and helpful staff! Thats why we decided to do our desert safari with them. They offer different camel safaris. From standard to deep desert safari. We decided to do the deep desert safari and had a wonderful time. Worth the premium. It felt very authentic with NO other tourists around. We slept under stars and visited the remote village of our camel guide. For dinner they prepared delicious food, freshly prepared on the open fire. I recommend everyone to come here when visiting Jaisalmer and Thar Desert.

My flight was delayed by more than 24 hours by spicejet and they denied to provide me free hotel according to passenger charter and hence I was ok lookout for a budget hotel providing private room. I booked fotiya hotel on goibibo and when I saw my room I was pleasantly surprised. For the price I paid, I don't think I could have asked more anything better than this. They even allowed my a late checkout by 3 hours by paying nominal charges. Highly recommended if you are a backpacker or just want to stay on a budget. Decently big private rooms with attached Western style bathroom on a budget

Booked the hotel for 2 nights and did a camel safari on the first. Staff picked us up from the train station free of charge and organised our camel safari once we arrived. Allowed our friends who hadn’t booked a room anywhere, as they were only staying one night and doing the overnight camel trek, to use a room free of charge to freshen up and get ready. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for the price. It is clean the restaurant has good food and the camel safaris they organise are great.

so happy we found this lovely hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful and always smiling. We ate in their rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the food was delicious. It is in a great position as it is away from the hustle bustle and a nice walk through the interesting local markets to the fort and nice to come back to peaceful place. Watching real life outside the windows of our comfortable and clean room was fascinating. It is fantastic value.

Awesome hotel in Jaisalmer. Would totally recommend. The owners are so nice and caring. They came and picked me up at the bus stop in middle of the night. Offer some tea. The safari with them was great and the guide also Nice. Such a cheap price its hard to believe it was this nice. 10000% recommend

Wonderful atmosphere in a lovely location! I went to a nearby restaurant for a buffet supper there. The food was good. The menu was priceless. I really enjoyed the desserts, which were available in a wide variety. The cleanliness is kept up.
