Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center

After being stuck in the house for a freakishly long time during the pandemic, I was itching to go for a trip outside somehwere. While searching for the options near Chennai, I came across the promotion by the “Four Points” resort and booked it immediately. Location: The resort is located next to the intersection of the Old Mahabalipuram Road & East Coast Road next to Mamallapuram. The property has a huge convention center at the entrance and the rooms are located at the back. The place might get a little crowded during the weekends with the crowd from the people attending the festivities at the convention centre. The rooms were spotlessly clean and were thoroughly sanitised every day. There was a lovely pool near the restaurant but was closed due to Covid restrictions. Food: The complimentary breakfast spread is huge and has north Indian, south Indian and continental options along with live counters for Dosa, Waffles and omelette. The food was tasty and the service was courteous at the “Petals” restaurant. Since we were fully stuffed from the breakfast spread, we thought of having a light meal for lunch and ordered a single mutton biriyani for two of us. To our surprise, the room-service meal came in a huge hot box which was large even for two people to finish. The biriyani quantity would definitely be equal to 2 portions anywhere outside. In the evening, there was also a complimentary High-tea, with beverages and light snacks. Others: The restaurant also had a good collection of board games, cycles and sports equipment to be used during the stay. On the day of our checkout, they made a surprise celebration at the breakfast. The entire service team brought a nice pastry with “Bon Voyage” written on top and cheered us. We really loved the hospitality and look forward to staying at this property in the future :-).

We had a really great experience. Initially we were skeptical of travelling with our 1yr old kid in covid times. But the team at the resort including reception, house keeping, restaurant were outstanding. All covid protocols were in place. Room and the facilities were very well maintained. the great lawn is very well maintained. Swimming pools were also very well maintained, but due to covid it was prohibited. House keeping guys were very responsive and their affection towards the kids by providing gifts are very well appreciated. Our request to decorate the room as it was a special occasion and arranging for a surprise cake humbled us. It was great show of caring. Mr. Ram, Mr. Fayaz, Ms. Prabathi and others were very helpful and efficient. The buffet breakfast was excellent with all options one can imagine for breakfast - south, north India continental, etc. The chefs were very accomodative in providing requested customised food for baby as well as for ourself. Baby food and our extra requests was never changed!! Our request for special foods of regional variety was served to the best. Even food was packed for our daily travels. Chefs Mr. Bijay, Mr. Shahbaz and serving staff Mr.Subin were really outstanding. They always oblized our special requests for baby food and bearing with him messing around the table. They are provided nice suggestion about the local travel. The recption team was also very engaging and made all the necessary arrangement to keep our kid engaged in outdoor as well as indoor. It's an awesome place to stay. Kids will really love it and it's really safe place for kids even at the pool as it's not that deep. The rooms are properly maintained and cleaned even we had all the essential amenities in the room. The management and staff's takes good care of everyone. In the property they keep you very lively by conducting some fun event's, movie time for kids in a big screen and they have big garden are where you can play games. The room service was really goodand fast. The variety of foods they serve in buffet is very good and the taste is excellent. Everyone in the family enjoyed the stay and really good time. Thanks to the four points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram team for making this an memorable stay.

Wonderful stay at Four points. They made my anniversary memorable. the staffs here are so friendly and they take care of your stay as comfortable as they can. All the decorations , cake arrangements was awesome. child care - they arranged a crib for my baby and they took abundant care in the best possible way by bringing the food items to room in case of emergency. Food - Dinner : Booked a Buffet - Lot of items , Tastes were authentic south indian. Literal loved it Breakfast : Yummy . Overall a very pleasant stay experience. i would like to rate the staffs on a high note - They made us comfortable.
