Geeta Khandelwal a 69 year old Mother and housewife is a lady of principle karma warm and welcoming woman who has spent most of her life caring for her family and home. For decades her life revolved around raising her children tending to household chores and maintaining a sense of order and comfort in her families cozy countryside house. While retirement brought a sense of peace she soon realized that she missed the bustling activity that once filled her home and the purpose that came from caring for others. Initially Geeta hesitated unsure if she could handle running a business at her age. But the idea of meeting new people sharing her beloved home with guests and adding a little excitement to her routine appealed to her. Transforming her home into a homestay became a project Geeta approached with her trademark care and attention to detail. She carefully curated each room combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The bedrooms were decorated with cozy quilts and thoughtful touches. Running the homestay allowed Geeta to express her love of hospitality. She treated every guest as if they were a long lost family member welcoming them with a warm smile and engaging in conversations about their lives and travels. Geeta genuine interest in her guests comfort and well being made them feel at home and many of them returned year after year forming lasting friendships with her. Despite the physical demands of maintaining a homestay Geeta found joy in her new venture. It gave her a renewed sense of purpose and helped her feel connected to the world. The income she earned from the homestay supplemented her retirement funds but for Geeta the greatest reward was the opportunity to open her doors to new people share her love of home and hospitality and continue creating a nurturing environment even in this new chapter of her life. In many ways the homestay became a reflection of Geeta herself warm inviting and full of life.
