Goa Palms

Its not a hotel but a guest house. But it is in very good condition. Rooms were neat & clean, specious enough for 2 pax, AC working nicely, toilet in good condition, overall a good staying experience. Additional benefit is that u get a fridge inside ur room. TV is also there. One more small but important benefit is that there are many electrical sockets, so I didn't have to take out my spike guard for charging various electronic gadgets. Only little drawback is that it is 1.5 km far from Sunset beach. Not really at walkable distance from beach unless u r a group of frnds & like walking distances. There is no place for car parking near the guest house. I had to park it on road nearby. But it was not at all a problem as my car was safe there as the road is of least traffic area. Peter uncle, the owner of the house, was welcoming & friendly. He will take deposit of amount equal to room rent (something unusual when payment is already done online), but will return it while checkout after he checks the rooms. Mind you, as it is a guest house, dont expect amenities like towels, soaps, in-house restaurant, etc. U will get extra bedsheets 'chadar' though. Overall, overlooking the location, I will recommend this guest house for a cool stay in budget.

No towel, soap, bed cover change fo 10 days stay, no tea food facility, full of insects,lizards etc. Hotel is situated 50km away from the city. No cleaning of room and maintainances. Shops and restaurent are very far from the hotel. Travel from city to hotel at night is very difficult no light full of pot holes and no one to help if u are in trouble. And you will be afraid to travel as u will feel like you are in a horror scene.no proper security, outsider keep coming and disturbing you through out. The contactperson is peter and he always misguide you with regards to money. The day we checked in he said he didnt get payment from the website goibibo. What should i do in that situation i have done my payment. And i asked him help for arrangement of byk. I dont know what was his deal with the byk owner he commited me some amount and the byk owner ask me some other high amount. Then peter indulged us in a fight with owner of the byk.. over all very unplesent experience we had staying at this hotel

Goa Palms is a warm and comfortable homestay, hosted by the lovely couple, Peter and Deo. Rooms are decently big with AC, fridge and TV. They use solar water, ensure cleanliness and are very hospitable. Location is in the interior away from the touristy noise. Majorda, Sunset beaches are easily accessible (1.4-1.7 kms away). It is a walker’s paradise.

it's like a single room of house.. we r really not satisfaction with this one.. we r check in with 2 hours before, but the owner collect money of Rs 300 from us. and bus services are very rare..
