First of all, it is known as "Gold India Beach Resort" rather than 'Dive Resort'. Pros: 1. It is very popular & location is very good. 2. Staff are very co-operative. 3. The private beach is fantastic. The exact front of the beach has rocks, but if you move just 20 m to your right, it will be sand only. During high tide, it becomes an excellent beach. In fact, it was the most enjoyable beach there in Havelock. 4. Hotel Price is reasonable. 5. It has ropes installed in the garden to dry clothes. Cons: 1. Food is very spicy & costly. 2. The beach lagoon, where we stayed, is a type of abandoned/discarded room (there are two lagoons only). At many places, woodworm has started to damage the wooden walls. However, other room types are good. 3. Power cut was very frequent (although they say it was aftermath of cyclone) Verdict: Stay in the resort but NOT in its beach lagoon.

We have good experience here. We were stuck for 4 days due to cyclone. Kitchen staff excellent. Cleaning excellent. Good quality cottages. Only minus - I felt bad when I was demanded cash for extra days and was asked why I cant get it from ATM there. Later manager agreed for cheque payment. One day lodging & boarding was free from government. Good food, generator power & cleaning was provided even in difficult time. So my thanks for that.

I had to wait two hours before I got access to my room. Food served was very bad. I think the cook doesn't have basic idea of cooking chowmine and biryani. Don't try chicken pagoda, it was fool of non chicken stuff and full of bones of chicken. Try to select at least just above the price wise basic room. It has beach which is good. Location is good. Other rooms are good. Has a big dining room in the restaurant attached to the resort.

Firstly for authenticity I would like to tell you that I am an IIMian and have clear understanding of hospitality industry. This is an excellent hotel at an excellent location in Andaman. I don't understand why people rated it so low in past. It has sufficient amenities considering the remote location alike Havelock island. Me and my wife felt like dreaming on the beach in front of this hotel. Amazing place.

Very comfortable stay in Gold India Dive and it is nearer to Vijaynagar Beach. Coconut trees welcomed us. We enjoyed the beach nearer to it. They offer Scuba diving also. They cost 2500 per head. This activity is not up to the mark. Do not do scuba with these people. You try Scuba with Barefoot or Scubalovers. They are awesome and they may be little costlier. Food quality is good.

I was stayed on upper deck room . Was good . But service wasn't good but for room you would be satisfied coz it is a beach resort so you will like it . Food isn't good though . You may find some bars near by this resort . But even though food wasn't good at where ever you will .

When we first arrived, we got a room different from the one we had booked. The receptionist wasnt cordial at all, but apart from that, the room we booked was well maintained. Still some way to go, as bathroom fittings are not upto the mark, and the water supply us not proper.

The hotel was okey for one night stay...Breakfast was good...nice location and along side beach...Initially i booked for two nights and later i converted to one night with nil penalty charge as hotel accepted....
