I stayed with my family for 1 night at Golfdale. The one thing that makes Golfdale exclusive is that the privacy you enjoy. On the upside, It's like your home away from home. You will be the only guest at a time, so you get individual attention for all your service needs. It's a cozy little place for you and your group. You get a nice view of the valley especially in the mornings. Nice lawn and shuttle court. There is facility to make bonfire. Nice little garden with fresh colourful flowers around. We have the choice to either cook our own food or engage a cook. We got a cook for to cook dinner, which cost an extra INR. 815 for the materials and INR. 350 for the cook (for 1 meal). This is for 3 adults and 2 kids. We could enjoy homely food of our choice at our convenience. On the downside, the cleanliness of the kitchen and the bathrooms could have been better. Quite a few flies inside the property were annoying at times. Overall we returned home with a pleasant memory of Kotagiri, and would go back there when we get time off next. I would recommend this place for 2/3 small families of friends or relatives, who can spend time together playing games both outdoor and indoor, and food and drinks.
