I had booked this hotel for 26th Jan which is public holiday. This hotel is nearby to Matheran Station but its too silent place & you will feel risky in this hotel. In night at 2 AM, there is some noise like someone is trying to open the door, latch voice is there at night. We cant even sleep because of that noise. This noise is not made of Monkey, dog or cat. I think this must be some drunkard person. I tried to contact the hotel person, but his phone is switched off at night. Another thing is that there is no hot water available from Geyser. There is geyser in the room only for the name sake. You have to tell the hotel person for hot water. He will give you hot water in bucket, may be they are boiling water on gas & giving it to hoteliers. Room is quite clean & neat. Only thing is it is unsafe. I will not prefer this cottage again to anyone.
