Hi I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights on 8-10 of May 2017. We were 7 adults n two kids. I'll start with the positive things about this place :- 1. Very neat n clean rooms 2. Very neat n clean washrooms 3. Newly renovated rooms, a well maintained property. 4. The caretaker Hemraj and Madanlal were v helpfull n soft spoken. 5. Food was nice, just like hone cooked food which u need after a long travel. 6. Very peaceful place,full of greenery, birds chirping in the morning. Now I come to the negatives:- 1. The location is not at all good in terms of road(narrow roads dt too broken) n connectivity to the main mashobra. 2. We have to all the way to a place called "GHADANA" for it. 3. It's a remote area. No lighting on roads, no shop for basic things like milk for kids. 4. Main mashobra is like at around 15mins drive by a very bad road. 5. The Ridge(mall road) Shimla is at about 45-60mins drive. 6. A small parking space. We had two SUVs n we have to park one of dem outside the hotel. I advice if you just want to relax in hotel or you are a good driver only den u Shud visit dis holiday home.

I stayed here to celebrate 30/31 dec.. Location : Its far away from main city.. Its in a remote location in a village few km away from mashobra.. For some who dont like remote village location, location could be irritating.. But for those who want to go in peace away away from shops and facilities.. Its the right place.. Facilities : Its like a basic guest house.. But very well maintained i must say.. The dining room, washroom, room interior everything is well maintained and neat and clean.. Food: chicken curry, dal, paneer, paraunthe, alloo puri, tea, coffee.. Thats it... That's the only food available.. But really really tasty and fresh. We loved the food. Overall: A little bad road patch and scary road especially when driving in dark.. But when u r in the property.. U feel like second home.. Nice and comfortable.. Loved it..

This is a very beautiful home stay very well situated overlooking a lush green valley. We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel staff is very welcoming and their pet Noddy, is a great buddy to have around. On our request, hotel staff also arranged for a bonfire and prepared fresh food for us. They serve simple home made food which is prepared as per orders received. If you are traveling with kids/infants, be prepared to take 6-7 kms walk to collect general stuff.. marketplace is quiet far. Also, before coming to this place, sharpen your driving skiills or come with a good driver. Roads are narrow and a bit steep. It is a perfect place if you are looking for a peaceful weekend. You can go out for forest walks and trekking around the hotel or just sit in the hotel room and gaze out of the window.. !! :)

It is located far from the city and in the lap of nature. Not very convenient if you like the hustle and bustle of the town market. Nevertheless, if you have your own vehicle and don't mind driving 45 mins to get to Shimla, then this is the right place. This is a nice little homestay with very clean rooms having amazing view of the valley. The staff are very courteous and responsive. The food served is very homely and affordable. Overall, one should not expect 5-star hotel amenities here. It is a homestay and the whole purpose of homestay is to be home like, not hotel like. We were a group of 5 friends and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel has very beautiful rooms and services provided by the caretaker hemraj is really worth mentioning, the hotel room has really beautiful outside, you can see clouds forming from the windows. It's just the roads to hotel are quite narrow, it's extremely scary to reach hotel at night, only a person having perfect driving skills should drive to the hotel. Overall we are really satisfied with this hotel. If you really want a stay like home it's a must visit place.

Amazing cozy place on the backdrops of Mashobra. Very good follow up by the owner prior to arrival, and good quality service during the stay. The resident cook made some finger licking food and had no problems in putting up with our odd requests. They even made special food for my 2.5 year old kid. It can be little tricky to find, so it is strongly suggested that you arrive before night out at least on the first day.

It's value for money ,feel like home, food preparation by Mr Mohan lal was awesome. Only thing that bothers are flies that stick to your room's roof and doesn't move for hours (PS: they are harmless). Overall it's heavenly out there, u r at total peace away from the chitter-chatter of shimla....

The hotel is situated at wonderful location, if u r looking for a hotel anywhere in between Shimla and Kufri or for Kufri then it is the best place to stay. The staffs and their services are much user friendly and the cost of food and lodging is very much economical.

Excellent location if you like calm n peaceful environment. It is around 15kms above Shimla. The road is narrow so you would find traffic after 7am going up or down d hotel. The rooms are good n well maintained but food quality is okay. Prefer to eat outside.

Hotel is really at good location. 12 km from Shimla but if you love peace then this is the place to stay. Food prepared by Mr Mohan Ji is too good. Staff nature was superb and they were very friendly and supporting. In short total value for money.

we along with two more families enjoyed our stay. It a wonder full place, staff was v. co operative , location of the hotel is lovely. The only draw back is approach road, but once you are in hotel it is worth value for money.

the view was just awsm from the room and the weather was very pleasing as well as compared to shimla..the only problem is the way from the main road down to the hotel was very poor..otherwise full worth of your money
