Everything is fine there.The hotelier is very friendly and having nice behavior.He has provided extra bkanket to counter the severe cold over there.The only thing which I felt that the room is very cold and there is a need of atleast one room Heater or something like that over there which was not available there.At the least one floor mat arrangements should be there as the floor was too cold even it is very difficult to stand bare foot on the floor.Another point is that the hotel is situated a little bit away from the main city and the minimum taxi charge to the hotel from main bus stand is RS 300/-.So up and down from the hotel to the city make our stay costlier.And there is very poor road network to the hotel and there is no public transport available near to the hotel.So I hope few things needs to be improved for a better stay over there.

Overall, the stay is located a bit interior but so is almost every stay at Ooty. However, the owner Deepak and his behaviour and helpful nature is beyond expectations and you shall enjoy your stay here. He also gave us very accurate and good recommendations about sight seeing nearby and on our way back as well. Overall a trip worth remembering. Location, helpful nature of owner and support. Great place to enjoy.

It's is a decent place to stay.No doubt the owner is helpful.Room and washroom was very clean.Parking facility is also available.But guys pls be cautious of you are travelling in winter as the rooms are extremely cold and there is no heater facility available.also it is a no view homestay.

We stayed in hill bird home stay for 3 nights and we would not recommend the hotel for family. There was no view outside the hotel and one can find better options at this cost. The room ambience was very gloomy and does not reflect vacation mode. Rooms were also very congested.

First of all its not a hotel in true sense, it's an furnished apartment with an owner cum care taker who takes care all the needs of the guests. All 4 stars for that guy only who is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms size very small, good only for couple and bachelors.

Every thing was there in hotel, needs more light, switches not working booked room for three but single bed provided, no extra mattress. Route to hotel from road is very dangerous. It should be mentioned on description, while customer books..

I visit often to ooty. One of the best homestay with comfort. Affordable. They are kind and polite to offer me best. Rooms and toilets are neat and clean. Location is comfortable. Nothing to complain about. Will be back again.

The experience is very good, the hotel uncle is so good, he takes care of our family.and the bed tea was good also .room is a little bit small but perfect for 2 people and was very clean.I like the hospitality 😀

First of all the name of hotel is not Hill bird it is SBM rooms. It is like a bachelor rooms. Worst experience
