Hilltone Bungalow & Villa Resort Matheran

This is the first time distance of this hotel from Matheran Railway Station is showing 93 meters whereas actual distance is 800-900 meters from Railway Station. It is located far from main market and Railway Station. Rating of 4.3 which is reflecting reasons for which I am giving here. Hotel is not maintained at all. Premises are not clean. Beds, pillows and blankets were dirty. Swimming pool is also not maintained properly. Rooms' walls were pilling. There is no restaurant, no hot water facility in the hotel. Road to the hotel is also very bad for around 400 meters. Room rate of Rs per night is way too high looking at the condition and services of this hotel. Though two boys were trying hard to provide food and other eatables from Matheran market but this was not expected at all looking at the information mentioned .

We were treated well by the owner Vijay Bhai, all our requests were accepted by the owner and he made sure that out trip was memorable. TV was not working, rest all was 5 Star Family friendly staff. Booking was done in Panorama Bunglow which is good for big groups, on request the owner shifted to us in a hotel nearby market considering a medical issue. Thank you Vijay Bhai. Good Hospitality

Bungalow is very far from market . No service of food available in bungalow. Total dependency on food from market. Owner is interested to collect the money at the entry . Stay like one person in deep jungle. Careteker in name only caretaker to run the hot water in morning. Will not suggest for convenience.

Climate is Awesome, 1st time quiet difficult to find, but the staff is Nice & Good Service, Mobile network is poor but their Wifi is very Nice, Hot water there are timings, Lunch-Dinner is good but u can try best with Amantran Restaurant for food
