ICS RESIIDENCY

This hotel is conveniently located close to the temple's Raja Gopuram, which is a definite plus. However, they don’t provide basic provisions like coffee or tea bags, a kettle, or similar items that are usually expected in hotels within this price range. Booking seems to cost significantly more, but the assurance of having a room reserved before starting the journey felt worth it. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but there are eateries nearby, so food is manageable. Swiggy and Zomato also deliver here, making it easy to order from places like Ananda Bhavan and similar restaurants. I didn’t find any particular inconvenience during my stay. Overall, it’s a decent option, comparable to a 2-star hotel. The hot water system works well, cleanliness is good, and the space comfortably accommodates 2-3 people. It’s ideal for a short stay of one or two days.

ICS Resiidency is located virtually adjacent to the Kamakshi Amman temple. As such, if your main aim is to have darsanam, you can't ask for a better location. The hotel is very clean, and manned by extremely friendly, sweet-mannered staff. As I was travelling from Hyderabad, I reached Kanchi at 7.30 am and, although the official check-in/check-out is at noon, the staff kindly accommodated me immediately, on condition that I would leave within 24 hours, which is of course what I wanted. The room was spacious and extremely clean, as was the bathroom/toilet. The bed was scrupulously neat. I would be very happy to stay in ICS the next time I visit Kanchipuram. They also have a spacious family room with two double-beds, which will do very well for a family of four.

Ac, television in room. The room was neat, had a double cot, television, AC, a mirror in corner, small dress table like provision. One chair was given. Hot water in bathroom, exhaust fixed in rest room. Staff good. Helped in getting tea, coffee, drying cloths, They also help getting auto for temple visits. What can be better: A bedside table, room lighting very dull, a bright tubelight, Cleaning room was done on request once, rest room no cleaning done in 3 day stay. Regular daily cleaning required. Felt itching using blanket looks like bed bugs. Frequent cleaning of bed, blankets pillows suggested. Overall rating 4, good. If improvements are done rating may improve.

Hi, we stayed in a family room in this hotel. Overall the stay was comfortable. Room is neat and maintained well. Best point is the proximity to the Kamakshi Amma temple. It is hardly 2 mins walk from the hotel. Mr Palani is very helpful. Only issue is there were mosquitoes in the room during night. If the hotel can provide mosquito mats in the room, it’ll be great.
