Kalyan Cool Homestay - Chikmagalur

my stay at kalyancool villa was simply superb.. the best part i liked is the hospitality, receiving and hosting with warm welcome by hosts.. thanks so much to Agnidev and his parents. were so cool and helpful beyond the accomodation.. helped with trip plan.. route guidance etc. Food is the best part of my stay.. simply havent missed my home food.. not much options but tasty. firecamp.. pool.. estate.. all amazing. looking forward for revisiting, Villa2 and room we stayed is superb and i happily recommend others. Villa distance from the city is bit concern but its worth to visit as of its pleasant and cool stay. thanks again Agnidev, uncle and aunt. yes I like so much, whole my family liked and it was simply superb stay.

Worth the stay at this property. We enjoyed a lot starting from courtesy extended, food, amenities like swimming pool, nature walk, badminton, basket ball, shooting the baloon, etc. Our main agenda was bird watching and we spotted nearly 60 birds. Some unique birds spotted are Racket tailed drongo, hornbill, straited heron, bee eater, flameback, kingfisher, malabar parakeet, vernal hanging parrot, plum headed parakeet to name a few. This property is most suited for family as well as for friends. Girish sir was very friendly. They took complete care of us. Will visit again.

Do not recommend this homestay for families. This is good for big groups. Room finally provided was not as shown while booking. The Final room provided did not have basic amenities like fan (table fan was provided on request), tv, internet. Food was the only highlight. Hosts are over indulgent and keep monitoring all the time.

Staff behavior, amenities and services were very excellent. Room was spacious. There was no WiFi. Location was nice. There was dining facility, but one has to inform 6 hours prior that he wants to have food and there was standard menu, one can't choose. There was no complimentary services.
