I had a wonderful stay at Kollanur Guest House. The view from the property is excellent, and the weather is awesome here compared to Madikeri main due to its location.Pros:Stunning views from the property.Pleasant weather compared to Madikeri main.Cons:Dinner: The quantity of chapathi and paneer butter masala was insufficient. It’s better to avoid ordering here if you have other options.Room Amenities: I was shifted to two rooms, but neither had a TV, likely due to issues caused by recent lightning.Service: I ordered tea at 5 PM and waited until 7 PM with no luck. It was surprisingly added to the bill, though the staff provided a revised bill after I explained the situation.Overall, while the location and view were impressive, the service and amenities could use some improvement.

Room is not at all good.It is having very bad smell. Beds and pillows having fungus .Its not at all worthy . Not suits for family. After lot of fight they gave a room which their staff uses. And their staff was shouting and watching tv on huge volume. Not able to sleep at all.Paying is waste of money. Even 1000/- is also waste for this . Its very disappointed. Want to have my money return .

this place has a lovely vibe and view. the best you can get in coorg at a budgeted price. the rooms were neat and tidy. they have a swing in their garden area which makes it a perfect fit to view the Sunset. the owners are very helpful and friendly. they have a beautiful white coloured*great Dane) who loves to play around and is the most gentle dog ever met. must recommended to everyone.

Best part of this property is an awesome location, scenic Beauty from hill where you can see clouds meeting mountains and greenery around. You will find two staff benevolent and courteous- Mr. Manju ( he knows languages😊) and helpful. Other caretaker jitu das is also helpful. Cons are its few rooms which needs improvement, and few are pretty good. They are working on improving it.
